In game ratings

Hey guys,
I'm not a new madden player, but am new to this forum.

Maybe you can help me out with some things....

1) What do the Yellow colored ratings mean (PS2 version) when you look at the individual ratings when playing in Franchise mode. Most are white but some specific ones are yellow.

2) Do ratings change when affected by play on the field? Like in NCAA '05 and '06, awareness gets higher when you complete more passes in a row...or catch ratings goes up when a player gets "hot".

Let me give you an example...I'm playing Franchise mode with the Lions and in the opening game vs GB, Harrington, who won the training camp battle with Garcia, has now thrown 3 picks in the first Qt. ( I'm playing in coach mode) just so my own inability to find the open reciever doesn't affect the outcome. His awareness is now 76 for the game...Garcia is Awr of 99 and Orlovsky is Awr of 81.

I don't understand why Garcia's goes from 83 to 99 Orlovsky from 61 to 81. I can accept that Harrington who's playing HORRIBLY from 77 down to 76. But how come Garcia is now looking like Manning on the bench?

You'll notice the same thing if you look at your rosters when your not in a game. The yellow means your coach is increasing that attribute for those players.

It means they are extremely unhappy and it is affecting that attribute.

I believe an injured player also will show red. Be careful here when trading.
