Shotgun 2 RB Circles

I know we answered this already but I can't find the thread. Could someone run some defensive plays for this play again. I played someone yesterday and he actually got it off on me 2 times. Kind of sucked since I knew it was coming. LOL. All I remember is the 4-3 Doube QB Spy. Do you think Quarters - Short Zone will work? Any other plays for this...

Run by a good player this play is hard to stop. It can beat any zone on the game and man. It kinda depends on the backs catching the ball. Run with faulk or green its almost impossible to stop, especially with out sacrificing the rest of your defensive coverage. The double spy does work well though. Also what I do is call the 4-3 zone spy. The DT drops in a short zone. Then all you have to is cover the back yourself. The real key busting this play up is pressure. Good Luck.

I have played against a guy who used the Falcons and used the Rams playbook just to use this play so that if you stop it he runs with Vick. I have been using Quarters Man Cover 2 spreading the D-Line and using teh coverage audible and had a lot of success recently because the LB spys the QB and just sits in the middle.

Also, I have seen someone else use the 3-4 OLB blitz because the OLB's run past the circling RB's which means you cant throw it early and the middle LB's play man coverage.

As Mamestro said, it is a tough play to stop in the hands of a good player. I hope these help.

i love this play. my first read is the tightend, second is my fullback and third, my halfback. if the tightend releases free into the secondary, it could be a big play.

i recommend a 3-4 drop zone defence on this one because a blitz wont get there in time if the play is run properly.
