I have been simulating seasons on NCAA 2005 and 06 and I stumbled across something that everyone will like. :D

I took the top 50 recruits in 05 and 06. And I gave them a scolarship. Then I yanked it from them right away. With all my points. And I told them I wanted coaching style. Now I know what your thinking thats stupid and time consuming.

Here's the catch!!!! If you take like the first 50 recruits and tell them you are going to give them a scholarship. The computer tell the program that you spent the points. But thats when you yank the scholarship. You get all the points back. Now sim to week 2.

And there ya go. Now look at all the 50 recruits and look at comments. It will have there comments there with out you spending any points. Now you can do that with ever position.

Take for ex.. On NCAA 05 I took Rice gave every one in the top 10 in every position. And told them program prestige. Well being a 1 star program I didn't expect much but when week 5 came around BOOM there was like 30 5 stars and 50 or so 4 stars. I read there comments and feed off of that. Negative or positive as long as there is some sort of response you can get that player. :D

I also took diffrent things like coaching prestige and tried that. And that worked too. But if you throw one pitch and yank there scholarship thats what the computer reconizes. But you can try a diffrent pitch the next week.

Oh by the way on the Rice recruiting I got the 2 best one in the nation. I signed 4, 5 stars and 11 4 stars and 4 3 stars.

Recruiting made simple.

And congrats to all the future number 1 recruiting classes :D ;)

You can also do this for 06. You can see what pitch they like. But on 06 if they are not sign they will not be in the interested recruits. Sorry!!! :o

But you can still see what they are interested in. But for 05 its a killer trick.

Sorry if you got to excited about 06. It only partcially works.

Yeah it was a massive glitch last year because you could target a bunch of 4* and 5* prospects in weeks 3 or 4 to increase their interest. Then you could sign them after you found the correct pitch. You could easily land (20) 5* with this glitch in NCAA 2005.

I like how EA Tiburon changed it for 2006, by keeping the interest level the same even if you found the correct pitch. It only works now for players with high interest in your school. I like it much better in NCAA 06 because you should be able to visit players without offering them a scholarship (it happens all the time in real life just to let the recruit know you are interested in him).
