Just curious, what happens if a team has 3 years of negative profits?

you would probably be looking for another job ;)

Yeah, I know, but I mean technically in the game - what happens? Does that franchise disappear and the computer generates a new one? Or does the franchise still exist, but they are forced to move?

I ask because I control all 32 teams when I run my franchises, and I've never had one go bankrupt, but I wanted to know what happens if one does. I dont want the CPU to take over the team and move it and give it lame *** EA graphics. I have almost 100 custom graphics in my system in case I ever think a team needs an update.

If it's like it was in previous years you get fired from that team and have to choose a different one (or the same one again)

I ran the Giants in the red for like 4 years & nothing happened. I built a new stadium with no public funds.

What system do you use? How do you get custom graphics in it?

I know exactly what happens, I've done it a couple of times. :)

You get a screen informing you that you've been forced to sell your team, and you get some money based on the value of your team. You now have to purchase a franchise in your price range from the league. These teams usually suck balls, especially 20yrs into the franchise mode (at least with 05's lousy talent generation).

Your previous team, it's coaches, players and everything else is still there, but now is run (into the ground) by the CPU. Kinda fun to watch a Superbowl Juggernaut team go tits up in about 3 seasons due to bad management.

The new team you get will be quite a peice of work, and I've only played it out once outta curiosity, but I had them for 10 yrs, and never won the superbowl again. It was fun to see my former players bounce around the league and play out their careers.

Apparently you can just turn your team back to human control on the PS2, but I haven't tried it, still itchin for the PC release of 06.
