EA Madden (Cheese) Challenge (Philly)

Quick tip for any of you who plan on going to the EA Challenge. You must cheese early in order to get into the good competition. The majority of the players were using MIA, ATL, TB and PHI. MIA and ATL is just come out in goal line and run or Run with Vick. and then they clock ball. I saw a game where the guy got the ball once in the whole game. went three and out and that was the end of the game. Also, a lot of guys can not defend the straight. I mean really cant defend it. No manual catching or defending. It was really some filth in the early rounds. I may go to DC to see how they play also but Im not sure yet.
Thanks to G4TV we got an interview that will be aired in a week or week and a half. Please excuse my apperance I need a haircut. :) LOL.

So bottom line. find a goailine stopping defense and practice in the DB Swat drill because these guys who throw will give you a chance to intercept the ball, because they dont click on.

What are some plays that you use to stop goalline. Only one i've had remote success with is 3/4 SS blitz and goalline flat slide.

yep be prepared for a lot of cheese and a lot of glitches.

Atmosphere is cool ... but a 2 minute q game can turn into a massive blowout FAST.

EA Challange are pure cheese fests. No rules at all.

Some people may think what I do is cheese, some dont. Like someone on here said before, when you get up there, its just a scoring fest and there is really no defense. Turnovers and touchdowns.

Well I guess I'll be sticking with the lowly peons down near that bottom area then :D. I'll take a straight sim-style game anyday over a cheese fest, but maybe that's just me.

yea man i mean i hate when ppl run goaline the whole game thats plain silly......and im playing str8 and just for fun....but if ppl dont click on haha its curtains....i dont care where the ball is thrown its curtains........my man polumula or whatever the steelers safety is called..

Boring ..... cheese is cheese ... goaline is for ... uhhmmm, goaline, hence the name .... these guy's that say ... "cheese is only cheese if you can't stop it" ..... you guys kill me!

Sorry friend ... running junk balll, CPU picks etc .... HB pass over and over .... it's a cheap way to get wins ..... guys like this fall apart in a str8 game.

I dont fall apart in straight games. RJ can vouch for me, the 1st time I played him, I didnt really use any BS plays.

There goes that theory. But yeah, for 50,000 i'd try anything.

I have seen people say this off and on and I have to speak on it. I have seen people say..it's called cheese when you can't stop it. That's silly. Most of the guys I've played use some form of glitch to win. They use whatever to get the win. If you play smart football you will win more than you lose. That cheese crap is for kids. They get a kick out of Vick dropping back 30 yds. and animation glitch the pass to someone. Running goal line a mess like that is silly. I played this guy last night and we had a solid game. He played str8 a ran a vey good offense. Hit all of his players, ran the ball, used screens, and the whole nine. If you want to win in a EA tourney you have to be up on all of the cheese and be able to control the clock, score when yo can, and mix up your def. Be agressive cause 2 mins. is a very short game. Anyone that cheese need to learn to play the game.
