How are you guys working on this. I try to set up heat but it seems like you never know which gap your defender will take. I have had a little success with moving players to change the direction of the blitzing arrow but it seems too random. Somtimes I can have the bltizing arrow pointing right in the B gap and he will shoot all the way around the DE only to run into the waiting arums of an O-linemen. I have even tried moving a blitzer as close to an O-lineman as legally possible and half the time he will do some half @$$ stunt that I did not ask him to do. Its very frustrating. It seems like you almost have to always play as the LB when you to make sure the blitz goes through the correct gap . Then again you cant gaurantee that the other blitzer will do their job. I hate playin as the LB but I guess I may have to so my opponent doesnt know when Im blitzing...Maybe awarness has something to do with it. Any thoughts?

Yeah it sucks. Gap control is non existent this year in Madden.

Good thing is that it eliminates designed nanos. The only nanos that work are those that happen by pure luck, because you never can predict which gap your LBs will pursue. The orange arrow is useless for blitzing LBs in this game, it doesnt tell you anything at all.

So basically I tell my LB to blitz through the B Gap and he says "Screw you KFReeman......Ill go through which gap I feel like going through even if there is no gap there"

Yes. I think EA did that so nanos would be taken out of the game.

I say leave nanos in there. They can be countered just like anything else.

The solution is to manually control the blitzer... so far.
