I like the passing cone, I can trick the D a bit by looking off a receiver.

Passing animations - rule, much nicer upgrade.

running game, feels like im back in 2004 a bit, I can actually run without the studda.

punting, same blockless crap

superstar mode, not as bad as I've heard. a bit tedious. prob better on pc since there is 0 wait time.

on D, I havent been able to use hit stick on every tackle, which is good.

I threw 3 picks with brad johnson, 0 with culpepper...

vid/graphics, probably my biggest gripe, not THAT much improvement over 2005, but thats ok. looks wise it seems like madden 05.

still.....graphics on PC, blow out any console ive seen yet. replays, intros, nothing wild

I like the last drive update, I like rookies having faces.

MGD, better than 04/05, I dont do NCAA imports, so I cant compare.

more as I play.....
overall I like the way the game feels now alot.

I just bought it for PC also...glad to hear of the improvements. I just recently got a PS2, but the load times drive me crazy on the EA sports games, so I stuck with the PC.

I think nintendo 64 was the last console i owned, but i only used it to play goldeneye mulitplayer. Before that was Sega genesis.

Once I played games like Ultima 7 when the only other option was super nintendo, the choice was obvious. Console were better for sports until about 2001-2002.

Hawker u said u can trick CPU by not looking at receivers... what do you mean because every time i've tried passing without looking it either goes way off or gets intercepted so do you mean Look one way then quickly look elsewhere or what?

say I have a RB going into the flat, with maybe a LB somewhere near in qb spy or zone, I will cone out to the oppostie side reciver then throw a gentle lob over to the rb, dont try to zing it too much. You arent getting good accuracy, but at least it wont be as covered.

I will try to post a video of it as soon as I can.

Anyone able to get Windowed mode to work while in the game?

Kobra

Tried it Kobra....

It goes into windowsed mode, to go in and out of menus etc...

once you start a game, it goes into full screen mode.

wow this sucks.

I edited this in madden.ini

"Windowed Mode [Yes/No] = Yes"
