Miami Cross in And cross under

My Friend has a focking play that know one can stop i want to know how can i stop it? Ricky goes one to th side two wide recievers and randy in a blue dealy going left.


I stopped it some times but i play man to man when i do that he bombs it. When i prevent and play ricky man to man i cover every one but theres no bilitz and he throws the ball when the reciever comes back down. I think i have to get an under play and protect the middle please help me?



P.S i beat him 3 times only when i use the same play, and im 62-12-3 online.

hey man-
are you talking about the cross under in the weak I 3WR set? if so, don't play man coverage. I'd play a 4-3 stong flat 3. it would help protect against the deep pass with 3 guys going deep and would do away with that pesky slant with the #2 WR. Nickel safe and under 4 wouldn't do too badly either. my guess is you'd see less of the deep pass and it would frustrate him into just throwing the weakside slant. he'd get away with it for a little while until your LB picks off a pass.
