What Should I Do?

I'm about to start my second year in my franchise with the Steelers. I have a bit of a problem since Bettis retired and now I have some thinking to do. In the third round I drafted a 78 Overall RB. I was thinking of either cutting Staley and have Willie Parker and my Rook in the backfield or trading Staley. Willie Parker's Overall is now a 79. Staley's is an 88. Staleys contract run's out in 2 years and I figured in 2 years I could have Willie and the Rook's overall each up to an 85. SO should I cut Staley or keep him?

since RB's progress so quick, take the RB that will be better in 2-3 years..

I would not cut staley if he is a NFL icon, a captain for you, or the cap penatly is high, otherwise, drop or trade him.

If you get rid of Staley, trade him. Personally, I'd keep him and the rook as your top 2 backs. The rookie is younger than Parker (I assume) and he will have more chances to get better and be ready to take over when Staley's contract ends.

trade staley to the 9ers and then you could have two young RBs that are still getting better, and fast

Trade Staley. First of all he is not a fast back and is older than the rookie.
