i am not a cowboy fan, but just wanted a good defensive team.

So far i have played 2 preseason games against the cardinals and seahawks.

i think my defense played well, i had 2 touchdowns, a FG, and safety for my scoring.

I am very happy with my defense so far.

I am playing on all-madden an am having problems with the passing game a little, right now Julius Jones is dominating for me.

Hopefully JJ will continue his dominance or my season will be down the drains.

I am also hoping for Jason Wittle to become a leader at TE this year.

I started a Cowboy franchise as well. Through the preseason and the first 2 weeks, I needed a fast slot reciever and a faster 4th corner. I wasn't too happy with Q Morgan as my 3rd WR, and I wanted Bryant back from the Browns, but I decided to trade Morgan back to CLE for Northcutt because of his higher KR/PR skills. I don't like to throw deep, I'm a fan of throwing to crossing or slanting WRs, and Northcutt's speed has him getting open faster.

For CB issue, I played the raiders in week 4 and there was a really fast young rookie CB in Fabian Washington, so I checked what it would take to get him. Turned out I got him for CB Fraiszer and a 3rd pick. So at the trade deadline, I got F. Washington as my 4th CB, and I use him to blitz from the CB position from the Dime. His first game, he didn't get any sacks, but he forced the QB to throw early and I had 3 interceptions by other CBs and safeties.

One more thing, I don't use the 3-4, I've always been a 4-3 D kind of guy, so i'm not using MLB Singleton as much. Ware has been on fire, leads in Tackles and has 5 ints, very pleased with his play. Spears had a few FF and sacks, and my starting CBs (Henry and Glenn) are solid as well.

I agree really don't know why you pick Cowboys for a defensive team!
