Loading Profile Problem

Madden won't let me load my other profile. It gives me "A single profile cannot be loaded more than once."

Anyone know how to get around this?

If you've created a profile the game will automatically load it at startup, so if u try to load it again it will give u that message.. U can always create a new one if you want.. :)

That works for the profile you want but if you have multiple profiles the game gets confused and loads the last loaded and screws up your others linking them together. Ex.

Game loads with PROF1 all is ok. I create a new PROF2 make changes etc. The next time the game loads several things can happen. It will load the second but have the stats of the first. I will load the first and have the stats of the second or the profiles merge and you will have only one of the profiles and it could be the second one with the staus or games won, lost, etc. of the first one on the second one. When you go to load either or the other you get the sngle profile loaded at once error. I've had to delete my second profile just to get the first one working again.

2005 did this also but rarely. Any help would be apprecited since the profile holds most of the settings used in game play that you do not want to have to setup all the time, thanks

Go and delete your other profile that say Prof 1. That is what caused the problem for me.

My problem is exactly like dg47's. My only solution at this point is putting both on my memory card and then deleting both on madden and loading the one I want to use, save it, then delete it, load the other one, etc....
But this is really annoying. Any solutions?

I can't delete "prof1" b/c I don't have one on my madden saved.

I tried to create additional profiles and it seemed to work for a while but then the problem staarted again. What's really crazy is it's only one profile that gets flaky and has to be re-created.

It also only seems to happen when I'm in franchise mode. My son plays his SStar and his profile seems fine (also the first one created). I was really hoping some has seen this problem since I really don't care about the won-lost but the audibles etc. is annoying to have to setup everytime you play.

Another symptom is have two profile that end up with the same name. I've been able to determine which is which, rename the changed one, and then not save it. I will the reboot the game and this seems to correct the problem. Anyone else seeing these issues? You do need to have at least 2 profiles for the problem to show up. Any suggestions or work arounds would be appreciated, thanks.
