Minutes per Quarter

Just about to start my Franchise( All-Pro)- just curious as to what's most commonly used as far as the length of the Quarters - I've been using 5 minutes in exhibition games. Thanks.

Around 5-7 minutes

i use 7 but i let the clock run a bit so i dont have an insane amount of plays.

i use 10 minutes with acclerated clock. it works out pretty good.

I use 7 minutes for pre-season and 5 minutes for the regular season. I use a longer time for pre-season because everyone plays only 1/2 the game.

12 minutes with accelerated clock (PC). Anything less is to short and not realistic stats. I play All-Pro.

earlier this week i was trying to determine this so i did a little research from nfl boxscores of about 10 games from last yr and found out that each team gets around 60 plays per game (obviously there was large variation btwn games but this was the average). i looked at some of my boxscores from 5 min games and i was only getting ~40 plays so i upped it to 7 minutes to get me around the right number of plays
