I think the best you can do when not importing from one of the other two games, is 3rd round. I just got drafted by the 49ers as the #1 pick in the 3rd round. I was an 87 @ that time and I was 3 points higher then the #1 pick overall...

I have 3 superstar games going. One is my first attempt and just went with what I got given which to be honest wasn't flash. My SS was meant to be a CB but once he was drafted he was only an 82 speed. He was drafted 4 round (low down) from the Browns if I remember right. I swapped him into FS and he is going well there now.

Next, White Linebacker about 72 overall, taken round 3 pick 24 by the Jets. he is at the moment second string on the depth chart but I only just started that one.

Lastly I got a black left handed quarterback. He is 85 overall (was 84 when drafted, great arm 94, he also was picked up by the jets Round 3 pick 24. However he did walk straight into the starting lineup, played well for first 2 preseason games over 100yds each game and 3 TDs 1 INT 1 sack. I managed to get a 90% on the IQ test so that probably helped a bit in the draft.

Only frustrating thing for me is the practice thing. How exactly does it work? I've had a few practices where I'll be getting about 8-12 points per play and the stats don't pick it up or show the days practice. Or shock horror had one practice where I was given 0 points and grade D when I did quite well on average. But hey it is just a game so I am not complaining, it's good fun!

i was drafted 2nd round 2 overall, qb ovr 92 and yes my player changed colors but i dont know why that would make anybody pissed. cant you just look at the player and not the color, give the whole color thing a rest just tell us what position and your stats.

My last guy was a ROLB who went rd. 3 pick 5(I THINK...) to the Falcons, hes an 88 overall, 95 speed(HOF DB DAD...said he ran a 4.2 40 for the scouts) 75 tackle, catch, and awareness...only played 1 game so far but i got 4 sacks and 2 user picks with him already.

OH, and by the way, to all of you saying that you went 1st round, save it were not idiots, we know the highest you go is 2 rd. pick 1, and you should prolly have looked that up first before you came on a madden forum lying about it.

i think its impossible to be drafted in the first round. however the first round is NOT the actual draft as in my game the Texans took Reggie Bush and the Saints got Vince Young. My highest pick was Round 3, Pick 5 by the Raiders. I was a linebacker but after one season I demanded a trade and went to the Super Bowl winning Cowboys. In my 9 seasons with them we made 7 Super Bowl appearances and 5 victories (the two we lost are the two I simmed) all 7 were against the Houston Texans. Question: do you guys have trouble making a character in Superstar or Create a Player? Your stats should be higher in Superstar just by doing Indiv. Workout. I can get a solid 4.45 without leaning, 36-42 bench, and 15,000 on the HB drill or 100,000 in WR drill. In the HB one, spin right when you get the ball up the field between the linemen and LB's. For WR;s, right when the ball is hiked, do a quick little spin WITH THE LEFT ANALOG STICK and the back should come right up to you and when he does, sprint up the field and to the left pylon and he will never catch up if you have a 95+ speed. Or he is really tall.
