Created School "cupcake" dynasty

I decided to give myself a good challenge by creating a cupcake school and trying to build them into a successful dynasty. The addition of in-season recruiting is a huge help in doing this. I play 5 min q on AA, and it is tough. I simmed most of the first season (1-10 against a C- schedule) and was able to sign a stud TB and stud WR in season, (I guess they wanted PT) but only 8 guys signed in the offseason. I'm in my second season, playing all but 2 games and I'm 3-3. I simmed a game at Nebraska after I got down 21-0 in like the first 3 minutes. The next game was at Central Michigan and my stud WR got hurt, and without him I have no chance of not getting canned after this season. I restarted the game but simmed it, since I kinda cheated to avoid his injury. CM beat my Northern Indiana Outlaws 24-6, so we both got a good deal, them with the win and me with my WR back. BTW, both my studs play both ways, and the WR even plays QB in the option formations for me. That's the only way I can move the ball. Anyway, I won the next game like 57-31 over Rice, and now I'm 3-3. My D is HORRIBLE. If the cpu gets outside on a toss sweep, it's basically a TD because my guys are so slow. It's kinda fun to have this much of a challenge playing the CPU, though so I recommend trying this if you're looking for a challenge. (I don't play online- too much cheese)

hey man if you want a cupcake why not just use VT! JUST KIDDING!!! i'm a mountaineer fan. gonna miss the VT-WVU games after this year.
I have a friend that lives down south and they always refered to the Big East as the big easy! I think it's pretty good that two schools from the big east go to the ACC and RULE! I guess the Big East wasn't as easy as they thought, although you guys left a pretty big hole to fill. I admit at first I wanted VT and Miami to lose every single game, then i was thinking that the guys on the team were recruited into the Big east...So now i say GO HOKIES (can't believe i just said that) beat the heck out of the ACC...at least for a couple years then after that you are just one of them. It would be great if all three VT BC Miami all dominate the ACC. Good luck in the ACC and if the mounties can turn it around maybe will meet up in a bowl. the big east and acc seem to have some match-ups in the bowls. that would be a great game!
As far as the dynasty goes I am trying something similar but I created a balanced team and i'm having difficulty with any team that is in the top 50. at times i get spanked. i have a lot of guys that are red with hand of stone.

Holy cow, does my D suck. I have no speed whatsoever, so I have to outscore teams if I want to win. I'm 5-4 right now, with 2 games remaining, at Navy (1-8) and at Indiana. I'm hoping to beat Navy, since one of my team goals is to finish with a winning record, and I'm afraid I'll get canned if I don't do that since I simmed the first season and finished 1-10. On a good note, through in season recruiting I've got commits from a 4* SS, DT, MLB, and CB, and a 3* FS and QB. I've thrown all my points behind trying to sign another QB, so we'll see if I get him. I've got a soft verbal now, which basically means jack. I've had several guys give me a soft verbal one week and sign somewhere else the next, which pisses me right off.
