chise feature: Spawn Games?

anyone know how the new feature "spawn games" works?

I saw it in the manual but the wording confused me a bit.

You uncheck the game you want to spawn and then spawn it, then go online and play the spawned game and then the game gets imported back into your franchise

my friend and i are playing a franchise together. we at the point where we play each other next and wanted to know if this game can be spawned and then played on line.

i've figured out how to spawn and how to upload, but how do we go about playing the game itself?

Make it public in your locker
Have your friend download it
Both of you go to spawn game mode
Whoever is the home team should load first then the other guy

My boys and I are starting week 8 of our franchise. I spawned our game vs each other ( Redskins at NYG, Portis ran for 215 thank you), But when I went back to load the game offline into our franchise it said their was a ERROR when loading this file. Anyone else running into this problem. I'm noticing it only after week 8 of the season.

Me and my brothers are playing a franchise and instead of watching each of us play one game at a time we tryed to do the spawn game thing. Two systems, two maddens. One would play there game on the franchise and the other exported the game to a memory card and played it on the other system. but every time we try to merge the results the error message comes up. We are in week 13. Can some one help?

It's well documented that the spawned game thing does not work consistently. I have heard that if the two systems are set up IDENTICALLY (EVERYTHING) then it may work. You may want to do a search for that though - because I am not sure if anyone has really found a way to make it work.

Yea I had the same problem with my franchise as well...It was around week 8 or so......Theres def a glitch in the system

Do you have to play the spawn game online or can to play it offline? If so can some one take me through the steps?
