Bud Adams, owner of the Tenesee Titans knew that he was getting old. When he put his beloved Titans up for sale he never thought that this would happen. His relative talked him out of selling the team. The name of that relative, Sean Adams Jr.

Sean: Grandpa Bud, you dont have to sell this team. I could rebuild it and once again make it the dominant team that it was in the AFL in the 60's. Come on... dont sell our family's team.

Bud: Sean... Sean... Sean... I am getting too old to run this team. I could only dream of the team regaining its championship caliber talent. But I just dont think that you can do that Sean.

Sean went home that night determined to get his grandpa to allow him to run the team. He stayed up all night planning out an agenda and he was ready the next day to show it to his grandpa. When he arrived at his grandpas office the next day he was shaking in his shoes. But he knew he had to do it.
*knock knock* He knocked on the door to his grandpas door and as his grandpa opened it he stepped in. He gave Bud his agenda and sat down.

Bud: Wow... I guess you really do want to run the team. Well since i shouldnt sell the family business you should have the team. Run it how you choose just keep me involved. We can say that you are the co-owner of the Titans now. Okay?

Sean: Yes... I can run the team and all. So I have a great idea. I am going to rebuild the team and call them the Nashville Comets. The Comets will be a dominate team in the years to come as we are only building them now. I have some changes that we could make to the team. Sean woke up the next day and the phone had a message on it for him. He noticed it and pushed to playback button. It was his grandpa Bud.

Bud: Sean I know you want to control the team and such and I would like to let you know that you have a new car. I have left it in the parking lot of your office. Now I would also like the let you know that your secratery Ann has notified me that we have aquired the players that you put on the list. This team does not look like much right now but if you think you can win us a championship or just take us to the playoffs, then we shall do what you think is right.

After listening to the message he recieved, Sean called for a limo to ride to the office and talk to Ann about aquiring the new players. When he arrived at the office he saw a 2006 Mustang painted with the Comets secondary color maroon. He stopped and looked at the car for a few minutes and walked into the office.

Sean: I guess you are Ann? I was told by Bud Adams to come here to get my car. I just hope that I can speak to you for a few minutes.

Ann: Sure, Sean. What would you like to talk about. Oh, and here are the keys to your Mustang.

Sean: Thanks. Now I am not going to be one of the owners that dont go to the games and just sit in their big houses and watch from satalite or whatever, I am going to be the one that goes to the games, enters the locker room, and motivates the players. Now, I have been thinking of going to training camp today. That would be right outside our field right?

Ann: Yes, sir. Do you need directions?

Sean: Of course not. I am going to head over there and talk to Jeff Fisher about how our team can dramaticly improve. I'll see you later.

Sean walks out and hops into his brand new Mustang. He rides over to the stadium and is greeted by Adam Jones and Jeff Fisher. Jeff looks at the young owner surprisingly. Jones shakes hands with Sean and shows him to the practice field accompanied by Fisher.

Fisher: Mr. Adams, I hope you know that I dont think this team is in any shape to win. Although we have seen dramatic improvement in our Linebackers, I think that you are insane for thinking about making this team a playoff or even a championship team.

Sean: Fisher, if you think that and you do not believe in this team then you will not be here to coach this team next year. When you think this over and start believing in this team, then come back and explain to me why you want to coach here.

Fisher stares at Sean Adams Jr. and shakes his head and walks over to the quarterbacks training.

After showing signifigant improvement, Orlando Ruff was named starting Middle Linebacker and was asked to lead the Saints defense. For the morning sports news this is Steve Berthowlemew, WNBC.

Sean: I know he had signifigant improvement but I dont think he is ready to lead the defense. Jeff what do you think?

Sean stares at Jeff Fisher who has arrived at the office to try and persuade him that he still wants a job. Jeff looks up straight into Adams eyes and points a finger at him.

Jeff: You know that I have been around the NFL a long time. I have coached this team a long time. I want to stay with this team for an even longer time. I know that you are the grandson of the owner and he has given you full responsibility over the team, but I think that you should call him up and tell him that you want to fire me at the end of the season. That is just wrong, down right wrong. This team will grow together and we will begin to trust eachother as the season goes on.

Sean: You made some good points there and I think that if you are willing to help this team grow down the stretch of the season then you are ready to be the head coach of the Nashville Comets. Now onto other business.

Jeff: Other business? I only came here to see if I could keep my damn job and you want to talk about other stuff?

Sean: Yes, I sure do. Now I have put some players on our team that I think we may need to win and sooner or later they will be a good team. But... and I mean BUT if they do not perform up to expectations then they will end up on the free agent market or even on another team. Understand?

Jeff: Yes....

Sean Adams Jr. and Jeff Fisher shake hands and Jeff leaves the room. Sean looks around the room and then stands up and also walks out. He leaves the building and heads for the stadium in his Mustang for the first game of the season, Comets versus Buccaneers.

Sean Adams Jr. enters Comets stadium proud of his first game and walks down onto the field. He pushes Adam Jones, Koren Robinson and Orlando Ruff out to the field for the coin toss. Following this the Comets recieved the ball and they returned it for a small gain. They drove downfield on the first drive ever as the Comets and on the 3 yard line, quarterback Chad Hutchinson threw a touchdown pass to Ben Troupe, the tight end. As Hutchinson came back to the sidelines Sean Adams Jr. approached him.

Sean: Nice drive. That is what I was expecting from you. You may have the starting job for the season if you continue to drive downfield as you did just now.

Chad: Thanks. I knew once I was cut from the bears that I would be a big time player where ever I was to go and right now I feel like that is here.

As halftime approached Chad Hutchinson went down with a minor injury that would keep him out for the game. Doug Flutie took over and looked terrible. Sean ignored him as he came to the sideline but ran over to starting runningback James Mungro who scored a rushing touchdown. He patted him on the back and showed him to the bench so he wouldnt get hurt. At halftime the score was 14-0. Sean walked back to the locker room with all of the players and shook hands with Jeff Fisher.

Sean: I knew you could do it. Now keep leading the team like you are right now and you will definately have the job at the end of the season.

Jeff: Thanks Sean. I knew that I saw something in you. You really have some taste in players and I think that maybe, just maybe that this team could win the division if we keep this up.

Sean: Whoa... You are going a little too far Fisher. You just take it one game at a time and then we will see what we can do. *speaks loud* Congratulations Comets, you are playing great and if this continues you will get the first win in Franchise history.

As the game returned, Adimchinobe Echemandu took over at running back. He took the ball from the 27 yard line and there was no looking back. On a dive play, he ran between the guard and center and wasnt touched as he ran it in for a 73 yard touchdown run! Sean and Fisher were going crazy. However the Bucs had some offense in them as the pulled off a 72 yard touchdown pass to make the score 21-7. That would be all the scoring for the Bucs as the Comets defense held them to that and the Comets 2nd string offense lead them to 10 more points, including a 70 yard pass from Brooks Bollinger to Jermaine Lewis. After the game Sean didnt bother going into the locker room as he drove back to his new home, excited about the first win in Comets history.
