Madden Bowl?

hey guys, I got to the madden bowl as a rookie, but i have to choose a team. Does it have to be my team? How does the madden bowl work?

You pick any team and go straight into a game versus somebody and if you win you advance or win i think.

you don't have to pick your team but if you do your superstar will be on there
