Is there any drawbacks for me to purchase the adapter that goes for about 10 bucks on ebay made by lynksys, instead of buying the much more expensive official pack made by sony? Here is an example.... thanks

I've bought one of the cheap USB network adapters and it lasted about a month. After that i kept getting a error message saying "Can't find Network adapter".
I recommend getting the one that attaches to the back man (Sony), its worth it in the long run.

That's the adapter I've been using since 03 first came out. Never had a problem with it.
