Ok, probably a stupid question but here goes - is there a technique to blocking kicks other than calling a block kick formation?.....for ex, do you take control of a defender and manually sprint him and dive?
thanks -

Nah I don't think it can be blocked. In this year game they kick the field goals much faster.

I blocked 1 punt this year, which was a true oddity since I haven't blocked one in years. Actually I didn't block it, the computer controlled player just went in unblocked, blocked the punt, picked it up and ran it in for a touchdown. Absolutely incredible play, so I made sure to save the replay. I guess it was just luck of the draw, but I sure took it.

I've seen one blocked FG so far . . . and sometimes the CPU is REALLY close to blocking my punts

i've been able to block a couple punts. you have to pick punt block and you need a fast player; 96+ for speed. it usually works all the time on weaker punters.
