no, the playbook gives you player ratings, also talks about the "eagle defense" which is a big buzz around online, gives you team ratings, gives every single play in the game and playbook, gives you description of defenses and what they do (like why you would want to use the 3-3-5 defense). if you're a novice or don't play online i'd go with this one.

the filmroom is a break down of actual plays, for instance: how to beat the hb direct, how to make blitzes more effective, and offensive plays that are really good. they break down 3 plays a week. sometimes you'll see 2 offensive and 1 defensive or vice versa. more geared towards tourney play and online.

hope this helps

Your first post was 18 minutes old man. Did you expect somebody to be waiting on the boards so that they could answer your question instantaneously?

You really think the Eagle is effective? I have had people run it on me and it simply doesn't work.

the eagle does work.........when people don't expect it or don't know about it. it's easy to run on though when you know what the defense is doing. it's still an effective defense when you can catch people with it.

i personally don't use it much anymore as i've found other ways to defend the runs from various formations without having to change my base d front. when the eagle first came out though and people first started using it, it was causing problems.

I have only had a couple of people run it against me and truthfully, it is a TD waiting to happen IMO. All you have to do is hot route the play and you are off to the races. Especially, if you pull it out against the option.

i'm not disagreeing with you. i agree 100%. like i said, i've found other defenses that are far more effective at stopping the run (bowling green can not stop virginia tech's run offense, not enough *** man, lol).
