well i just finished my first year as the ECU QB. i guess you can say i had a magical year. i finished with over 4,000+ yards passing and 1,800+ yards rushing with a total of 72 TD's. i also had my other backs finish with 1,400 yards rushing and my backup with 900. i like to run the Wing T spread so i like to run and throw. well at the end of the year i won the heisman as a freshman. i also went 13-0 winning the rose or orange bowl i believe when i was the #8 ranked team. as a team we average more the 750 yards a game and averaging 60 points a game. now i just started my sophmore year and none of my stats went up like speed, agility, pass power, pass accuracy and before the season ended i was overall rated an 84 then when the sophmore year starts i am still and 84. anyone know any ways to get the stats up?

In my current Dynasty I have a Junior Quarterback with an overall Rating of 94 (who, incidentally, won the Heisman as a Freshman -- his Sophomore year he got subbed out frequently in favor of developing other QBs). As a recruit out of HS, he was a 4*(3rd best QB with an overall of 76) in the nation. Now, the quarterback that I had recruited before him was almost a spitting image, statistics-wise, but was a 3*(i think 30th+ QB with an overall of 74) in the nation. His progress was much slower in overall Rating and as a matter of fact as a Senior had a Rating of 91 even though he had been an NCAA Statistics workhorse leading in who knows how many categories every year and playing almost every snap. He had won the Heisman his Junior year and still didn't start the Senior year as an impact player! So, I guess my point is that sometimes, no matter how effective your player can be (especially when controlled by you)... his overall roster statistics are held back or accelerated by predetermined potential (i guess you've noticed that little statistic when reviewing over potential recruits?)

try putting forth more points towards development and training and take away from recruiting. that should at least get them some kinda points.

What difficulty and quarter length do you play? Reading the stats, I just assumed you were playing on a low level for like 10 minute quarters, but if that was the case, with those stats, you would be getting a lot more than 60 points a game, so maybe you're not doing it like I thought.

yeah thats just amazing...almost to the point of absurd. Average more than 750 yds a game? I can reach over 60 points a game but only with about 550 yds on AA 6 min.
Yeah, like DJ said its all about how many points u put into training and the guy's potential to improve, not necessarily how padded your stats are at the end of the season. A 5* and a 2* may come in with the same overall but for sure the 5* will improve more with each year. Although I have heard rumors of EA putting in "diamonds in the rough," so there is a rare possiblility that the 2* may actually beat out the 5*.
