What is dumb bout Madden's franchise is that when a big event, big transaction, injury, trade rumors or a player complaining the Newspaper repeats the same article like 2 or 3 times but in different words. It makes the newspaper pretty retarded. And when I traded Lavar Arrington to my team it did'nt come out in the newspapers.
Also I never see teams trading with eachother much or at all.

I think the milestone articles are overdone and worthless. The front page of the national news shouldnt feature that Dawkins has reached his 20th forced fumble.
The repeat wording is pointless too. My team reputation is low, and we almost never get a mention in the national paper even a blowout of a top team. I put a high OVR guy on the trading block, and that was national news though.

Do you guys find anything useful in the newpapers? I'm not trying to be sarcastic, I just want to make sure I'm not missing anything.
I found them completely useless last year, and I haven't even looked at them year.
I always look through my email, which is mostly useless but does give you a good "heads up" once in awhile.
And I always check out to see who's the player of the week, and later in the season who's leading for the yearly awards and in pro bowl voting.
But the newspaper . . . I just never saw the point.

I do check both papers after each game and I really don't know why! I guess to see if my team made the national paper and to see if there where any injuries to key players on other teams. I do get a kick out of though. But it is pretty pointless. :D

Okay, that makes sense . . . a national headline is kind of like winning player of the week. I think I may start looking at that.

I check the emails after every game but mostly to get the related items (awards, standings, progressions, etc). It's a good one-stop-shop for all the things that i normally check after the games.
The newspapers and Tony Bruno are crap though.

I mainly like looking at the papers cause of the cool pictures and I dunno its just cool. It would be better if there were articles that actually were useful nd entertaining.
