I actuallty switched to an agent lower on the list from the one I had in order to use it, so I think it's just a matter of time before more agents become available. This was after I completed my first season btw. I'm not sure but it might be a mixture of your exposure that gets you more agents.

As a quarterback w/ a hall of fame QB for a father and a marathon runner for a mother I had a high starting rating, plus with an 80% on my IQ test that helped. I went #1 in the 3rd round to SF. I had an agent with the Performance Institute available to pick from right off (actually two). I think the key is to have attributes in the field in which the agent is looking for. Most all agents want a high marketability and some could care less about popularity, while others want both or none of the above. The performance institute isn't easy. The training is @ least All-Madden mode of the mini-games we're so used to in Training Camp from this year and last years Madden. Being a QB with a lower accuracy, it's been a real chore trying to obtain any points. Trust me, if you haven't got an agent with access to the Performance Institute yet, you most likely will next season... unless your player just tanks. But even then, I think there are agents who look for those types of players too. :o

Maybe it's random luck too because I had a HOF RB dad and a sprinter mom and did 80% on the IQ also and still had the same 5 agents available.

True, but as a QB with those stats... and the same basic scenario, your starting marketability and exposure is much higher. Especially, if when you are drafted by a team and are there starter... and no, I don't mean naming yourself starter... I mean having a higher attribute as a rookie than that of anyone else at your position on your team.
