or more 2 back sets in general
look at teams that have dominant runners like the 3 headed monster at georgia or look at fsu. anyway that you can get 2 talented backs into the backfield is good.
specifically with this formation though, you'd be able to do some really neat things. think about the posibilities
wr screen
clearout (which would be awesome out of this set)
cross
speed option
double option
hb double option
hb screen
and a whole bunch of others
this would really be a nasty set to include as a "new set/formation" for next year. i mean the defense has to respect both the pass and the run out of this look (sorry, watched some of VSU's practice yesterday and saw this, phenomenal)

How exactly would you do this as a legal formation?
.............T..G..C..G..T .......WR....WR
....................................WR
...............RB..Q..RB
I don't think that is legal with the left tackle uncovered.

I want to see something like this:
WR..........T..G..C..G..T..TE
......................................TE
.................RB..Q..RB
And those 'flexgun' sets look good too:
WR..........T..G..C..G..T.............WR
.............H.................H
.......................Q..RB
etc

not really, think about it

no different than having quads as long as 7 men are on the LOS (to the best of my knowledge at least). then again i could be wrong.
flexgun would be nasty

As I said, I thought the tackles had to be covered in addition to having 7 on the line...but hey, if that isn't true then I damn sure want that formation. The more 2 back sg sets the better.
I use SG Trips Over a lot, and would like to see a complimentary 2 back 'over' to go with it:
........TE..T..G..C..G..T...........WR
......................................WR
...............RB..Q..RB
A play editor would take care of all this crap...and it needs to be able to edit both offense and defense.

In college football the tackle does not have to be covered. The rule states you must have a Minimum of 7 men on the line of scrimage (THERE IS NO MAXIMUM)... they can be in any order you want them to be in on and along that line of scrimage.
Now here's where it gets tricky in ORDER to be ELGIBLE to RECEIVE a FORWARD PASS (A pass not handoff, all players are elgible for a handoff), he must have an elgible number... I forget the range something between 1-49/80-90 I believe.
I was looking at that rule recently and I don't recally anything like the NFL where it says he has to "REPORT" to an official as an elgible for college football.
Hence crazy formations... like the LONESOME POLECAT... are completely legal... PS the CENTER (with a legal number )IS an ELGIBLE Receiver
.......TE. ET..T..G..G..T........................C
.................................................. .............................WR WR
...............RB................................. ....Q..
Or this one is legal
WR..WR....T...G...C...WR..G....T.......WR......
........................QB
.........................RB
Now you may ask Why would you want a WR between the guard and the center?
So you can do shifting and drive the DC nuts:
..............WR..WR....T...G...C...WR..G....T.... ...WR......
............................................V- Wr Shifts back off the line
<WR can then go in Motion<<<<WR
.
....................................QB
....................................RB
A shift like that after the defense is all spread out can produce a great mismatch a quick wr on a line backer or on air because no one is expecting a guy in the middle of the line to shift off the line of scrimage and catch a pass.
But we don't have to go EXTREME...
Heck why not just give us back the Singlewing, the Short Punt or the Notre Dame Box! These offenses were around more than 50 years in college football!
Hence the Signature fellas... what I wouldn't do for a GREAT play editor... ps you can create some equally as good defenses... too if you know what you are doing..
