View Full Version : Do you ever get the option of changing conferences?
Like I play Akron and was wondering if I ever did well enough would I get the option to join the Big East of Conference USA or something, or am I forever stuck in the MAC even if I became like a 4 or 5 star team?

I haven't tried using a mid major team yet but in NCAA '05, I went to UNLV and it took me about 10+ years to get an invite to the Pac-10. I believe it should be about the same in this year's game.

I use Notre Dame, and one year I was invited to the MAC (after winning the NC!) and the next I was invited to the Big Ten. I turned both down, though, because I like to play a variety of opponents.

I created my alma mater (as an academic school) and was horrible in year 1 (like 1-11). However, I was able to recruit a couple of running QB's and using a stall ball (let the play clock run down to bleed the clock since my defense was horrible) offense I want 11-1 as a member of the sun Belt Conference.
I was invited to a bowl but had to quit the game. I figured what the heck and simmed it and then proceeded to the offseason. I had an 80 OVR junior RB wanting to transfer and also got invited to join C-USA (replacing UCF). I did not save and was able to actually play and complete the game.
Going forward from there my invitation to C-USA disappeared and I did not get the RB looking to transfer. Not that it mattered since I still have a weak defense and need another year or two in the Sun Belt. However, I was amazed that an offer would come to a new program with a 12-12 record after 2 years.
