Has anyone noticed if the CPU controlled coaches ever get fired? I thought about putting some of the coaches names in there before I started a new dynasty but I figured they would stay at the same college forever.

I wish I would have done this earlier and I will probably do this before my next season. I've noticed that my coach gets offers from other schools like USC and FSU so apparently the CPU shops therefore I would have to think other schools hire/fire coaches as well.

If you take another job with a different team I wonder if it swaps coaches? Someone has to coach the team you left. This is where I thought it might be kinda cool to put some of their names in. If anyone has observed anything like that let me know.

What happenes is the coach that takes over for you is named after a D-1AA team, like "AAMU Coach" or something.

I started a new Dynasty last night and started putting the big names in for head coaches. It may take a while but I will check back with anything I find out

You can change the names of all coaches in the game including the Div.1AA coaches. At the start of a new Dynasty you have to edit the names of all the D1 coaches then import all Div.1AA teams. After importing simply edit the D1AA coaches names after you are finished just go back to import Div.1AA teams and reset all conferences to get the D1AA teams out. It is a ton of extra work, but all coaches will have names so when the AAMU coach suddenly gets a D1 job he will have a name.

For me the easiest way to see if a coaching change has occurred is to look at the award for Coach of the Year and see where the top coaches are actually coaching at.
