Does anyone know the 40 speed to speed rating conversions? Is there a link with a numbers breakdown?

im sure there is a specific conversion but i dont know. however, there is a pretty basic trend when i scout prospects.
anything in the 4.29 range is usually around 97- 99
4.37 to 4.32 is around 91- 96
4.40 to 4.38 is around 89- 90
4.45 to 4.41 is around 85- 89
4.7 to 4.46 is around 80- 84
these are just estimates, but in my opinion they are accurate

Thanks for the stat translation link!! I saw a guy with 4.16 (he was interested in my crappy (2 star) program) and was wondering what that would mean in the game.

I have had 2, one was 4.16-21, can't remember, but had 99 speed and 95 acc.
The most recent one tested at 4.16, and had a 99 in both speed and acceleration. The high speed makes it extremely (~95%) easy to run back punts against DII programs, and around 50% for 3 or less star programs. I love it - even ran back a kickoff to win the ACC championship game with 2 seconds left in all american.

I started my team as an academic school and had a horrible first year (1-11) where I ended up simming half the games. After that season I got a RB who was a junior that wanted to transfer in. I of course needed all the help I could get said I would accept him. Anyhow, he sat out last year but he is playing now. He has 94 spd and 94 acc and you would not believe how easy I am finding the game again. I have played 5 games and he has about 1250 yards and 19 TD's (I still run a lot because I only have one WR with an OVR of better than 70 and my QB is more of a scrambler than a passer).
Anyhow, if you get used to playing with a guys who has 80 spd but less acceleration and then get a guy like this you see how true the saying speed kills can be!
