Can Recruits Not Qualify?

I've had a few DNQs what does this mean besides Did not qualify?

ROFLMAO... Gawd this is so true....It is so MADDENING to chase a recruit for 5 weeks, be by FAR his preferred school of choice and then have him either A) MAKE NO DECISION or B) DNQ...

It doesn't bother me if a kid goes to another school (although I noticed all the guys I want REALLY REALLY want go to Wake Forest for some reason.. what is it with those Deacons?) or really if he dnq's,but a recruit who does ABSOLUTELY nothing I just want to ring his neck! The points and imaginary money I spent flying out from Hawai'i to meet this kid and he doesn't even have the courtesy to make a DECISION.

Do you think its possible the DNQ's get the DNQ because they wanted to come to your school but you used all your scholarships? Cause I just finished year 2 of my canes Dyno and there was a number of DNQ's 4-5 * guys that had me at the top of there list I just didn't recruit them...

I believe DNQ's are completely random because I have had a few A+ Field AWR prospects who loved my school's academics get the dreaded DNQ.

Great question UM.. it may happen if I'm over scholarship. But, I keep my rosters well below the maximum and I keep careful track of how many scholarships I have available.

I think J is right, the guy just wanted to work at Piggly Wiggly and live the rest of his life in his mother's basement. ;)
