thats not true, depending on the zone. there are several zones to design those exact routes...

check this post, i put it up a while agof or 05 but the principals are the same:

curl-post,In route-Post, Streak-n post underneath it, Streak-n-corner underneath, flat-corner route....are a few that come to mind. Is that what you meant?

Stay away from out routes, this route led too many easy interception. Best to beat zones are post and corner.

also running ball in middle gut help, dont run to outside.

Streaks n Fades, inside recievers like SlotWRs or TEs running Streaks and outside WRs running Fade routes. The Fade routes usually always opens up.

Add in:
Drags/crossing routes, deep post over the middle, corner routes, Flats (vs. safer zones like Cover4 especially), HB/FB circle or angled ( < > ) routes over the middle and you should be good to go. And playaction also.

Something Shayan told me at a tourney was these two rules.
For man you do slants, corner, post corner, curls, and quick outs
For zone you do crossing routes.

The problem with zone is that the defenders jump the closest man. If you're running crossing routes one guy clear the other out. 3 route floods work in this case. Hot read- (flat route), and two crossing routes at different depth. The Streak/fade is easy to stop by just moving your corners around. Once that's done you're stuck. (Like a flat, post, and curl. (TE- post/HB- Flat, FL- Curl.) This way no matter if it's man lock off or zone you will have one guy open at all times. You also have help with a hot read to the flat.Always have your backside work to the middle of the field when running floods. This way if the coverage flow to the overload side where your flood is you have an option on the backside. (Like the SE doing a deep post route, slant, or drag.) Deep outs when ran right can't be defended unless you have two to three players there. Take care and good luck.

If you have a slot reciever running a post route and your outside running a streak. For some zones the slot reciever running the post route will be open because they will worry about the reciever going deep.

Any route can beat a zone... it all depends on what kind of zone they're running.

use compression sets to flood the zone

any route that runs through a few different zones. You hit your rec in the seams.. Works well.

always check the flats vs zone, alot of peeps use drop zone which has no coverage in the flats.

Would that be a deep-in with a slant underneath it?

post streak and corner will muder any zone excepte prevent and cover 4, just send ur hb to the flats then.

Question:

When you say Post, Streak, Corner
Do you mean SE = Post, Slot = Streak Inside WR or TE Corner?

Thanks

SB Trips Bunch...Have the inside TE running a Corner route. The guy next to him on a out route...and the guy on the end running a drag out.

I like to run this combo out of a Singlback normal. Then motion the HB or the Flanker to the left to create a Trips look... From left to right.

WR - Out
Outter Slot - Corner
Inner Slot - Streak

If the defense isn't using 3 defenders in zones (Flat, Buzz, and Deep) on the same side of the field, one of the receivers will be open. If they do use all 3 defenders on the left to zone the sideline, there is a clear lane for the QB to run. Even if the throw is made, it's one on one coverage on the left short, intermediate, and deep.

I also like to run variations of other route combinations on this side of the field too... UNSTOPPABLE if I get time to throw & put the right touch on the ball.

There is no zone that covers the entire field and that's what a drag route does. It goes across the entire field an even if you zone everybody across the field there will be a gap in between defenders.

Also everyone keeps saying fade route but what route on Madden is a fade? I though in madden fades and streaks were one in the same.

My favorite route combination is the trips bunch. TE streak, WR3 on a corner, WR1 on a flat route. One of them will be open, always, unless someone is using a LB or DE to help cover.

Also out of any tight, send the slot WR on a streak the SE/FL on a fade and motion them out. They will be open. ( i kinda dont like this one though, because its kinda fake, nothing like this would ever really happen in real life).
