How are the 3 areas of offseason budget effected by the percentage sliders:

Recruiting - how is this effected by a high/low percentage?
Training - is this anything besides how much players improve?
Discipline - what does this contribute to? discipline points? overall team discipline?

Recruiting is for points you get to recruit with.
Training is for player improvement.
Discipline is for the amount of Points you have to discipline players.

Pretty sure thats what there for if not by all means correct me... later

Recruiting%- The higher the % the more points you get to recruit and scout prospects. Also, for every 1% above your school's default recruiting% you get 5 extra points (say you are Temple and their default is 33%, if you change recruiting to 43% you will get an additional 50 points to recruit)

Training%- The higher the % the more your players improve in the off-season training phase. Yes, there is a big difference from 30% and 60% training. If you have a bunch of returning players then put more into training than recruiting.

Discipline%- The higher the % the more points you have to discipline your players so if you have more points you can suspend them more harshly or suspend more of your players if your team is constantly getting violations. This is quite possibly the dumbest thing EA added to Dynasty. In real life, no way a coach runs out of points to suspend players. Plus it seems that your players with A grades in Discipline are getting in more trouble than the guys with F grades, and it is always for something dumb like your 6' 3" 200 lb. QB not following his meal plan.

1. Is there a cap of the number of points received by raising the percentage? For example if your default for recruiting is 30% and you have a crappy team and decided to put your recruiting percentage at 80%, do you get an additional 250 points above the default?

2. What is the default points amount for each catagory?

3. Since it seems that players with good discipline tend to get in trouble more, has anyone tried only recuiting poor discipline players? What is the impact?

1. Your total recruiting points is based on a bunch of variables, such as total wins, wins on national tv, wins on regional tv, program prestige, recruiting% in your budget, and # of scholarships available.

I went 14-0 for 6* Tulane with 8 national tv wins, 6 regional tv wins, and had 25 scholarships to offer so I decided to figure out how many points I would receive by putting 100% on recruiting (I got 669 points). I then changed it to 60% and got 469 and finally to 40% and got 369 points. I was a 6* and got those results so I don't know how much different it would be for lower tier team. My guess is that there might be only 2 pts per % change in recruiting for a 1 or 2* school, but again that is strictly a guess because I never tried to find out.

2. You can only find out by picking a school and then at the start of the off-season take a look at their default%'s in their budget. You could choose the 1st 12 alphabetically and go from there, but it would take a long time to get all 119 Div.1A schools, and on top of that the extra 79 div.1AA schools.

3. I don't even care if a player has good or bad discipline when I recruit them because the game doesn't care either. I don't know what it would do, maybe it would lower your Academic prestige.
