How do you start the SS mode?

I can't figure out how to start the SS mode?

believe me, that's a good thing :p You'd be better off in franchise mode with a custom built character :D

Just go to "Game Mode" then "NFL SUPERSTAR" and follow the direction. It's not hard put it will take up alot of your time. I spent an hour looking for the right parent match up. That's what I think takes the longest. Have fun, and injoy.

i'm playing 2 superstars at one time plus i just started a franchise...i'll tell you what...i play more time on franchise for one week's matchup than i do for 2 superstar modes for the same amount of time. franchise will suck your life down the tubes. man its fun, but i get addicted and have to go through every single thing i can do...down to looking at each players comfort level on the team. lol

I don't like having to worry about salary caps, trade died lines, and all that other stuff you have to do in franchise, the draft picks, singing free agents, not for me. I like sstar because all I have to do is play the game,and practice. I don't matter if I win or lose as long as my guys numbers are there it's all good.

yeah i am the same way most of the time...the other times i look at my roster and think...well if i had this guy on my O-line i could have stretched this run farther or make this play work or that play work...i get curious so i decided to try out the franchise mode. its so much better than ESPN 2K5 franchise mode. so much to it. i think thats mostly why i like it, because it immerses you into the franchise. i wasn't so impressed with any other franchise but the way this one pulls you in has me hooked.

i wasn't trying to persuade you, just telling you my reasoning. at first i was so against franchise mode. believe me i still love SS mode but franchise is a good change. that might be the same reason that i am doing an offensive and a defensive SS at the same time. lol

like bucfan said, franchise will SUCK THE LIFE from your veins. i'm not sure if its true but i heard from 2 different people in the real world who dont play madden that some korean kid died while playing madden for like 48 hours no food or drink. i cant find it on the net, but i believe it. ive almost gone 36 hours without food and barely without drink playing franchise, but ive gotten better. but that constant fight or flight chemistry in your head is baaaad. but im still very much addicted. im about to switch back to superstar after some 50 odd years in franchises since 06 came out. franchise is good until all the knowns are dead and gone, then every team sucks, under 90 OVR, and its incredibly hard to keep yours good. but its definately worth putting a good 10 fake years into, multiple times. though its hard to stop at 10.
