Yo Armored, I have been using Furrey, and have had hardly any problems tackling with him. Now if he gets trucked, that's different, but a lot of FS's will get run over like that. But he makes tackles for me just fine, even open field. And that 73 catch is sweet for interceptions. PUT HIM IN! ;)

Redskins safety Ryan Clark should get a boost (atleast past the players he's currently starting over, in real life, for 2 years now).

Also, I'm kind of curious as to why Fred Smoot is rated better than Shawn Springs in the game, Fred was the #2 corner here in DC, and he hasn't done anything this year for the Vikings.

Sean Taylor's awareness is in the 60's? Come on now, that is just ridiculous.

Yo Armored, I have been using Furrey, and have had hardly any problems tackling with him. Now if he gets trucked, that's different, but a lot of FS's will get run over like that. But he makes tackles for me just fine, even open field. And that 73 catch is sweet for interceptions. PUT HIM IN! ;)

I have had lots of problems, my friend uses the Rams also and I play him a lot. Unless Furrey cuts Steven Jackson's legs out he almost never gets the tackle, and I cant look to Furrey to EVER get a hard hit and jar the ball loose on those high passes.

carson palmer is decent. not that good. neither is eli manning. eli just chucks it up to plaxico and plaxico is making the plays for him. hes just chucking it up. troy polamalu needs a boost and yes, kevin curtis, and yes, orlando pace needs to be black. the ravens need to go down altogether.... everyone. except mason maybe. vick should not be any better. palmer and vick are not playing decent defensive teams. come on, get real. just like how alexander gets all of his rushing yards against arizona or garbage teams like that. against the giants he was great wasnt he? yeah... for maybe 2 runs. but he is still good. the bears defensive line needs to get a boost even though the ratings are not bad as they are. who else.... shockey should get a boost and gonzales less. gonzales is a clown. i have to go now but i could go on all day. get it together EA

ya bears d needs to be better, i would make vasher a lot better he's playin well, same with alex brown. i think lj smith should also go up aswell. lito sheppard should go down a bit and sheldon brown up. i dont think carson should be THAT good maybe a 95 overall. Derrick Burgess should be better i believe he's leadin the league in sacks. Moss should get a little worse seems like he doesnt fit in oaklands offense. Lamont Jordan should get better hands, he's leading the league in catches at HB. Take McNabb and Owens out. Trent Cole - DE on the eagles should be a little better hasn't played half the season and has 5 sacks i believe. Steve Smith, Santana Moss, Larry Fitzgerald, Joe Jurevicous, and Joey Galloway all should go up.

I thought the big exciting thing about roster updates was so we could constantly change player's ratings??? You are still living in the days of no roster updates man, get into the times. Players no longer have to put up 5 consecutive years of pro-bowl play to get respect and then when they finally get respect in Madden they suck and are washed up. Carson Palmer is the best QB in the NFL right now agruably. Carson should have a 99 THA cause that is what makes him Carson Palmer, I know Peyton Manning is great but there are a handful of QBs who have better arms and can throw prettier sprials more accruately. carson palmer with 99 tha is the dumbest thing i ever heard.
i mean he's very good, but he's not proven himself year in and year out. the ratings are not based on how much he lit up bad teams.
just because a dude is leading the league in stats doesn't automatically make him the best. he can't do the things peyton can do, and eli sure as hell can't touch peyton manning.
i guess ryan fitzpatrick should be 90 overall too, and tom brady should have less accuracy and awareness than vick.
you people get too worked up over rating, take what u can get.

ok i see where your comin from, but just cuz hes best in the league right now doesnt mean he should have 99 THA, i mean thats the best you can have. they gave peyton 99 THA and 99 AWR this yr becuz last year he set the freakin record for TD's, and he had rating of 121. he DOMINATED in the QB department last year, so EA gave him those stats. On the other hand palmer is just barely beating the other QB's this year. Palmer this year doesnt even come close to peyton last year. So EA shouldnt give him the same stats they gave peyton. ya palmer should be increased, and maybe manning should be decreased, but 99 THA for palmer? cmon now, he needs to pull a manning if he wants those stats.

The Bears Dline and Front 7 should all get a huge boost my boy Vasher needs some more speed. Chad Johnson should be 96-97 speed and Steve Smith should be 97-98 with 98-99 AGI. I feel moss should take a bit of a hit not much but some. Whoever said Lamant Jordan needs better cth are you crazyhe leads the league in drops? Burres needs a speed boost I feel. LT needs a bit more str like 75ish did you see him stiffarm that safety vs washington? The Colts oline does need a big boost outside of Glenn and thier C its pretty bad right now. The Falcons oline needs to be more athletic alot more ACC and Vick should get a little AWR and T.acc boost but a small Car hit(hes averagine like a fumble per game) Jenkins needs a bit more jump same with crumpler. Hmm who else is there the RAvens entire team needs to take a bit of a hit maybe outside of reed lewis and suggs and that oline should be at best all 85's theyve been horrible this year including ogden. The Broncos dline needs mroe Speed and Str thier oline needs a bit of a boost same with putzier. Thats all I can think of now.

terrence mcgee on the bills needs a boost. that guy sucks in this game. he has to have a lot of speed, he's pretty good in real life.
ike taylor should be better. catch should be 60 and awr of about 75 or so.
chris hope should be better, something like 85 or 87 ovr.
it seems like they only adjust the ratings of QB's, RB's and occasional WR's.
if they want to screw us with bad rosters, they should at least make good players good.

vs. pittsburgh palmer had a nice little qb rating of 53.8 buddy. There is one of the only two good defensive teams palmer has played against. Chicago, the second, he had 169 yards. And the cincy offense had the ball all day. orton threw for 5 interceptions ok. none ran back for tds or anything. so he had the ball in his hands all day and he managed to only get 169 yards. cya. hmnmmm.... what other good defensive teams did he play. indianapolis? no.... their d is greatly overrated. if they play vs. good offensive teams they get smoked. cincy couldnt stop manning and the indy overrated defense couldnt stop palmer. lets not even talk about baltimore cause their d is overrated as well. this last time you played? did they have lewis and reed? ok. now for all the awful defenses palmer put up good numbers against.... in chronological order: cleveland browns, minnessota vikings (remember how good they were at the start of the season? impressive carson!) houston, jacksonville (in a losing attempt and he got all his yards in the last 3 minutes of the 4th cause they let him get the short yards...), tennessee, green bay. carson palmer's ratings have gone up already and are way high. he is no where close to being compared to brady or manning yet. brady and manning are the two best. theyre both on the same level. the only qb's i dont like are eli and carson. theyre way overrated. i like how they were criticized (especially eli) last year and this year everyone idolizes them. carson is better than eli cause eli just chucks it up high in the air for plaxico to go make the play. thats not skill. and i sure do hope you beat people with cincinnati. they have a real good qb for madden. personally id rather use adrian mcpherson with the saints and make people look silly losing to a team like the saints

For the person who said Vick hasn't played against a good rated defense, let's see 300+ passing yards against the Bucs #2 rated defense, 200+ against the Dolphins #3 defense, he went into Buffalo against another top 5 defense and won, and to top it off BEAT THE IGGLES on MNF.........now say something that means something, he should get a bigger cone VICK is 2nd in QB Rating!!!!!!
