View Full Version : Owned Peyton

I just wanted to say, that after playing Peyton in my franchise with the Patriots, I just owned him. He threw 0 tds and 7 picks on All-Madden. In total, they were only able to manage 6 points against me. The only thing about Peyton is even if they don't run the ball, they can chew clock because of all Mannings adjustments.
Do you guys ever have any trouble with Peyton in ur chises?

The only thing that annoys me about Peyton is his adjustments, no other QB does it like he does.

****er ravaged me my 1st year then my 2nd year i spent my cap on the defense and i pillaged him. 4 picks 8 sacks and 0 TDs for him -- they're running game picked up 100 yds tho =\

I just find him annoying because he take so long to snap the dang ball. Joey Porter and Aaron Smith seem to enjoy knocking him down as much as anyone else, so I really don't have any trouble with him.

his audible crap pisses me off...He's not bad but he doesnt do as well as his RL self. I sim any game against the colts(or fantasy team hes on), i cant stand waiting for him to snap the ball.

I find it stupid that he's the only QB in Madden who audibles, com'on all QBs in the NFL adjust their play. The AI in Madden should audible and adjust some plays during the game, it would be a bit challenging on defense.
And i have to agree that Manning isn't the most impressive QB i face in Madden, i have more hard times with the Rams offense...
I see the humor in the Madden developers making Manning adjust and audible his plays for like 25 seconds, while none other QB does.
It rubs it in our faces... so next time we see him on TV we hate the guy.
"That's the guy who took me 2 hours to play yesterday! And then I met him in the conferendce final for another hour and 48 minutes!! I hope he breaks his legs!"
I like the humor on Madden.
