Hot routes on the 360

Just recieved the 360 yesterday and trying to get used to x-box(ps2 guy) controller. I have reconfigured the buttons to my liking but even before then I can't seem to get the hot routes to work at all. Someone give me a hand.

We're all still getting used to the 360 controls since their new to us xbox schlubs too. Select the receiver that you want by cycling through with the B button. Press Y and the select your hot route as normal (L-stick for the hook, fly, in, out; R-stick for the drags, quick, and fade).

Thanks man it's alot different than PS2. I'm getting used to it.

I wonder why this was picked to change the controls for... I find it very hard, especially without a Madden Long camera angle.

On the bright side, because you can't call out a WR by the button either on O or D, there's no Run/Pass Glitch online!

It is a cumbersome change, but I think it may have been done to prevent players from making too many pre-snap adjustments. Holding down either L trigger or R trigger pre-snap gives you the coach's cam which is a good enough view for me.
