Ok, i just started this morning, with my first game under my belt. The next post will have pre-season and 1st game stats.

I'm playing 5 minute All-Madden quarters, no change to the sliders. I will(hopefully) play the max amount of seasons I can.

Ok, bout to start it off with stats! Away we go.

Predictions and thoughts for the upcoming season

I want to turn this team into a playoff calibur team, with this season finding flaws and fixing them. Defense is weak, but our offense is strong and will be able to put up numbers. We should finish 6-10 and miss the playoffs, due to the struggling defense. Our schedule and division is one of the toughest this year too.

First game of the season

Chicago @ Washington

Lose 31-28

Kyle Boller- 1 TD 5 INT, 9-22, Threw for 156 yards
Clintin Portis- 108 yards, 1 rushing TD, 13 rushing attempts
Santana Moss- 2 special teams touchdowns. 4 receptions, 54 yards.

Tough loss. Last drive of the game, Boller gets sacked, and we need to hit a 53 yard FG to tie it. Just shy, and we lose. Defense held Chicago pretty well, but once we face a high-scoring team, we need to get help. Looking to improve secondary. Offense is looking good. Hopefully Boller will develop well, and be able to put up good numbers.

I play on AM a lot and I don't even get 10 INT's a season. But I only pass 1/4 plays. It's hard getting INT's on D.

I was looking to make a young team. I was aiming towards Carr or Boller(Eli as last resort) and Carr was too hard to get, without giving myself a huge disadvantage. I want to develop Boller as a good QB. I like challenges, and with this setup of default sliders etc it gives me a good challenge...

Week 2

Redskins @ Cowboys

WIN 34-17

Boller- 10-23, 108 yards, 1 TD 1 INT
Portis- 25 carries, 173 yards, 2 TDs
Owens- 7 receptions, 71 yards 1 TD

Forgot to get defensive stats, but I remeber having 2 sacks and 1 INT

Week 3

BYE week

Traded 3rd string QB Campall for CB Deion Sanders

Next week- Seattle @ Washington

Record so far: 1-1

OOOoooooooooooooo Primetime back to the 'Skins. You should trade for Chad Johnson and you'd have some pretty mputhy players on your team.

i hope Sanders can help during Seattle game, I'm going to need it. I'm trying to pull in a good LB. I use 3-4 defense, so it would be nice to get another good LB. I use the Miami playbook, it fits in well with the Redskins O. I know i should use the Redskins playbook, but I decided agaisnt it.

I'm hoping Boller does well, and doesn't get intercepted. This should be a very high scoring game, lets hope for the best.

i just started a redskins franchise on all madden yesterday.. and it was so weird, against the cowboys (week 2)

I'd pass to Santana Moss, and the cornerback covering him would fall down right when moss landed with the ball in his hands.. literally just like will allen did on every single play two days ago. it was pretty amusing.. he ended up with like 250 yards on 5 catches.

and yeah just run portis all day.. he's a beast and that offensive line is pretty solid, esp at the tackle spots.

SeaHawks soar over the 'Skins

Early in the 1st quarter, a scary moment happened on the field. Qaurterback Kyle Boller was hit hard. He was down for several minutes. It turned out to be a concussion, and he was out for the game. The team needed to step it up big time, allready down 10-0 agaisnt the SeaHawks. Only a few got the message.

Down 13-0, Deion Sanders intercepted the ball. The offense went 3 and out, and it was the Hawks time again. Sanders intercepted it again. If he'd broken one tackle, it would of been a PrimeTime touchdown.

First play of the second half, Clintin Portis showed he'd wanted to win. He busted a run for 84 yards, pulling the Redskins to 13-7 losing. He rushed for 148 yards on the day total, with 18 carries.

Santana Moss also helped, with around 100 special team yards, and 6 receptions.

"It's dissapointing to lose this game. We fall to 1-2, and have a tough schedule ahead." said coach Joe Gibbs after the game. "I just hope we can rebound and win next week."

The final score was 33-13, in favor of Seattle.

Pre-Week 6

Trading deadline coming up, so I was trying to upgrade. I was trying to trade Owens for Muhammad/Grossman/Urlacher, but just couldn't work it in well. I traded FS Bowen for QB P. Rivers, straight up. I also signed FA WR Peerless Price, which is now my 3rd reciever.

Week 6

Cool I am gonna start over my franchise and post my results also. You have to rally to make the play off!

Magra
12-27-2005, 10:42 AM
I'm going to be modest and say I wont make the playoffs.

Remaining schedule:

St.Louis
Arizona
Dallas
Giants
Philly

I see 3 of those going my way easily(philly, zona and louis) and the other 2 going either way.

During the offseason I'm going to have some choices to make. Keep Rivers or Boller, what positions to draft. Another possibility(but i dont see it happening) is trading Owens for a decent WR, and position like MLB or FS. Heap isn't doing good enough, so I'll be looking to trade him.

Going to play some more games, come back with results later

I see you losing to Rams, Eagles, Giants..The rest are cake

End of regular season

WERE IN THE PLAYOFFS! We finished off 10-6. The crazy thing is, if we won our last game, we would of been the number one seed!! The NFC seeding is

Dallas 11-5
Vikings 11-5
Seahawks 11-5
Falcons 10-6
REDSKINS 10-6
Panthers 9-7

The AFC is

Chargers 12-4
Ravens 11-5
Colts 11-5
Chiefs 11-5
Broncos 9-7
Patriots 8-8

We face the Falcons in the first round, winner goes to face the Vikings. Lets hope I can shut down Vick and win this game.

Clumzie

Ok then..mine chise is up and going too. You made it hum contain Mr.Vick

Magra
12-27-2005, 04:52 PM
We lost in the first round of the playoffs, 34 to 20. We contained Vick amazing, holding him for 4 rushes and 12 yards. But he passed amazingly, and we couldnt stop it.

I really screwed myself over, and dumbly forgot to sign some people. So in the off-season, i had huge gaps in my needed amounts for position fills. I had to make some trades and all that, but i think i ended up good from him. Here is my roster I will start the next season with, then I will post up training camp stats.

Rivers- QB
Portis- HB
Cooley- FB
Santana Moss/ Javon Walker- WR
Gates- TE
Samuels- LT
Stone- LG
Rabach- C
Thomas- RG
Jansen- RT

Wynn- LE
Daniels- RE
Griffen- DT
Washington- LOLB
Marshall- MLB
Arrington- ROLB
Bailey/Springs- CB
Taylor- FS
SS- Prioleau
K- Hall
P- Frost

I lost Owens, but didn't lose much talent with getting Walker. I had the chance for Gates or Urlacher, and chose Gates. Traded Heap for Bailey, Putzier and a low-overall DT. Traded Owens for Walker, Davenport, and low-overall G. Drafted some free agents. I was sweating it while all this was happening, but I like this team because its offense, defense, special teams and all that is strong.

lol i just traded R. Johnson 1st & 2nd round pick for portis.. and just for ****s and giggles i exported the team, put it on all-madden, and had the cpu face the pats.

portis had 162 + yrds..

i love that pickup.
