Can I reassign or change the button layout?... for some reason everytime i use the LT to lock on my receiver and then pass I end up pump faking a lot of times (instead of throwing the ball to the receiver) on the 2nd push of the button. It is suppose to be 1st push locks on the receiver (then 2nd push fires the pass to that receiver)... Can i hold down the LT while I am throwing the ball or do i have to let off the LT before I pass to the receiver... or maybe I am accidently clicking the LS and creating a pump fake on accident... it is getting frustrating to get sacked because I pump faked instead of passing to a wide open receiver... if 360 had practice mode maybe I could work on this... NO PRACTICE MODE just SUX!!!!! Why in God's name would they take out PRACTICE mode???

Yes you can reassign the buttons and I reccommend that you do. I too was having the pumpfaking problem and I found it was due to the stick. If you click the stick, it will make you pumpfake, so I reassigned the buttons. Go to Setting, and gameplay I believe. Good luck.

Thanks that helps big time... EXCEPT... I just found a MAJOR programming glitch!!!!! When I reassign the LS button to "open" and move pump fake to RS button.... I can no longer use AUDIBLES...... everytime I try to audible once I switch the buttons It just goes to a stupid goaline offensive play.... WTF... HELP am I doing something wrong... the LS button is the only button I am changing (in Presnap window)....

Something is really really wrong here..!!!

Please test this and see if you have the same problem....

That is all I did as well. Go to Strategy and check what your audibles are. Make sure that you dont have a goaline play set to the audible you keep selecting. I am having no problem audibling to the play I want. I have noticed that sometimes the QB dosent have the split screen come up everytime, but he does audible anyway. I will mess around with it a little more tomorrow and see if I can get what you are having happen to occur. Happy New Year.

once I switch the buttons... I can't even call an audible....online or offline... this is very frustrating... although I am learning not to push the LS when passing.... so I am dealing with it.. but it is one extra thing to think about which is not what you want when your in a pinch being chased by DE's who want your Blood!!!

I'll try again... man I hope you are right and it's me not the game... because this pump fake on the LS is KILLING me!!!! I am now 6-3 online and all 3 losses are from the inadvertent pumpfake, which gets me sacked which has caused a FUMBLE which has directly effected the outcome of the game!!!! this is MEGA frustrating..!!
