Interesting to me... hom many people are really PO'ed about not having a DEF playmaker... I for one think this is fine... NOW, you actually have to look in your defensive playbook and find a play that shuts down what your opponent is doing....

The Playmaker (defense) on 2006 (reg version) was just stupid... it didn't matter anymore what play you called on defense... you just run out there and start playmakering everyone... YES I mean everyone... if you've seen a Madd. challenge lately... most of the top dogs were just dropping all 11 guys into coverage.....it was stupid.... even the DEF LINE was stopping 10-15 yard passes.... that is just stupid to have dline defending the DEEP BALL...LMAO...!!! IMO

I agree with some of what your saying. Dropping 11 guys in coverage on a regular basis is silly IMO, but it is a good change up. The Def playmaker allowed one to be creative. I loved taking zone blitzes and changing a few players here and there and I also did the same with Cover 0 blitzes. My one complaint in the past was that players memorized defensive plays and knew how to beat them. The Play maker forced you to play honest.

You can still do a TEAM post snap playmaker on the 360, just not pre-snap individual assignments... Just in case you did not know. :D

Im not sure what you mean by POST snap playmaker (are you talking about on offense)... or do you mean the defenses ability to RUN commit or PASS commit (within 1 sec after the snap)????

yes, I mean "the defenses ability to RUN commit or PASS commit (within 1 sec after the snap)" - sorry if I was confusing. I assumed you knew that, but I figured I'd throw it on here anyway...
