Cone / precission passing

My son plays (he's 9) and he doesn't use the cone when passing and it seems like his passes are pretty acurate... so if you don't pull on LT after snap the CONE doesn't come up... so at that point it is pretty much like Madden of 04 and 05?????? Is this how it works??? ... or is there a place where you can actually turn the CONE off????

You can't turn it off, and yes you pull the left trigger to bring it up after the snap....or you can press the icon of the reciever before the snap and it will automatically come on after you snap it.
