people don't seem to be making many free 360 leagues so I put this together. So far everyone signed up is a real active player so the league should really be poppin. Give it a shot should be fun.

http://www.gaming.leaguerepublic.com/gen/Index.do?league=4099092

this league is for madden 06 on XBOX 360

This will be a competitive league, Trash talk is accepted if not encouraged. We want decent ballers who have enough time on their hands to play 1-2 games a week. We will have 16 total players seperated in 4 divisions with playoffs and a superbowl. I am working on getting some sort of prize or incentive for the winner. There will be no charge to enter but before you enter make sure you are willing to make the commitment to play. If you are interested just click the link above and sign up . We are hoping to get things started by this weekend (01-07-06). Holla

Rules of engagement... Art Of Madden:

1. Game settings:

four minute quarters

all pro

injuries:on

fatigue:on

no slider adjustments!.

2. Be Respectful:

Every owner deserves to be treated with respect and is expected to show good sportsmanship in return. If you feel you are not shown proper respect and good sportsmanship, bring the issue to the Commish.

3. 4th Down Rule

If you are down by more than 3 touchdowns in the first 3 quarters you can go for it on 4th down. You can go for it on 4th down at any point in the 4th quarter if you are losing or winning by 3 or less points.

4. Audibles:

Audibles are allowed but restricted. Don't Audible every play All game. You cant audible more than twice in one play. This Also applies to the Defense, 2 audibles each time for Offense and Defense. IF you audible on Offense you must wait for the Defense to get set and not snap the ball while defeders are still running to cover their man.

5. 2 - Point Conversions

You are allowed to go to 2 point conversions only if it is necessary to achieve a tie or win.

6. Players Positions(depth chart):

The Following Position's are allowed

QB only plays QB

HB can play HB, FB

FB can play FB or TE

WR only plays WR

TE only play TE,FB or WR

OL can play ay OL Position

DL can play any DL Position

LB Can play any LB Position

CB can only play CB

Safeties can play any Safety position

K can play Kicker or Punter

P can play Kicker or Punter

PR any player can Punt Return

KR any player can KR

LOS can be played by any OL Position

7. No Huddle Offense:

Using No Huddle during the whole game is not allowed. If you are behind, you can use it to catch your opponent off guard. Just Dont abuse the no huddle.

8. Running up the Score:

Feel free! i'd rather play a score runner than a clock runner any day.

Motion on Offense and Audibles:

You can motion a player all you want, If it's zone it's no problem, but if the defense is in man coverage, you will need to wait until the defense player is set. No Snapping the ball while the player is still running. Audibles are allowed but be real, don't motion every single play.

Quitting:

IF you quit a game because you are losing, You will be removed from the league. Quitting is not acceptable.

Play calling:

Do not pick the same damn play OVER AND OVER again. Mix it up, we are in this to have fun not to exploit our favorite glitches.

QB dropping back:

Drop as deep as you want just try not to get sacked in the end zone.

Hot Routes and Playmaker:

You may call Hot Routes or Playmaker all day if you want!

Lob Passes:

This is allowed , but DON'T ABUSE it. Don't use the same reciever every play

Defense Shifting:

Defensive Shifting is allowed.

Freeze Rule:

If a disconnect occurs the game cant be resumed. The two owners can try to work out what to do by returning the score to where it was prior to the freeze, create a game scenario. IF both owners agree, the game can be replayed from the start

Bump and run:

You may use the bump and run as much as you please, so deal with it.

Moving player before the snap of the ball:

Owners Cannot Move more than one player. If you move a player, you must keep controll of that player. You may move ANYONE before the snap of the ball on defense.

Ask Madden Feature

You may not ask Madden..............If you don't know.....Your *** should'nt be in the league...............This feature is not allowed

Blocking Field Goals or Punts:

I don't know if this is a problem like 06 on X-box, but if you cna still work the glitch to block punts don't do it. Other than that give it your best shot to block anything you can.

Defense Blitzing

Is allowed anytime, just not everytime. Be realistic in your defensive strategy.

Onside Kick

If your AHEAD you may not use this feature. If your losing in the 4th QUARTER then this feature can be used..

QB Movement:

There is no limit to Quarterbacks coming out of the pocket. Can you picture Dan Reeves (Atlanta Falcons coach) telling Michael Vick to only scramble 8 times and just sit there and get sacked if no1 is open? Well i can't picture it..Scramble as you please!

Roster Breakdown

Every team will have the requirement players on all positions.

Injuries

Injured will be ON. In Madden 2006, there are no injuries longer than out of the game when playing a network game.

I'm interested, but I've got a few questions about the rules:

#3: Does this rule apply on 4th and short in the redzone or just outside of field goal range? It doesn't seem much like sim ball to me if you don't have a little more freedom to go on 4th. I agree with not abusing going on 4th (i.e. 4th and 9 on your own 30), but a little more liberal use within the spirit of sim seems more appropriate to me.

#4: Does the 2 audible limit apply to hotroutes as well? E.g. can you call an audible and then hot route 2 receivers or are you limited to just one hot route after audible? Nevermind...I see the rule further down.

#8: Define "clock runner." I prefer running the ball and sometimes I wait for the center to point out the blocks...is this "running the clock"?

QB dropping: is this rule really necessary? That's probably my least favorite non-sim way to exploit a defense.

Moving players before the snap of the ball: This rule needs to be amended IMHO. Without individual defensive hot routes, it's necessary to move multiple players to get the correct coverage sometimes. Also, the way this rule is written, you can split a DE wide for easy sacks all-day.

Who the hell asks Madden? :D Can you ask the coach or use the play type or marquee player playcalling options?

Damn!! uhhh lets see

#3 yeah this rule is flexible it really just means if there is no reason for you to be going for it then don't. If you are in the redzone and have a 4th and 1 I would go for it and so would alot of NFL teams. Just don't abuse the 4th down and it's not an issue.

#4 nevermind you saw the rule further down

#8 This is really a grey area, I understand it takes time to read the defense run audibles hot routes etc., but If you are running your offense in a way that you take more than a full quarter on a single drive then you are running clock. But running clock isn't necessarily against the rules I just said I'd prefer to play people who don't run the clock down intentionally.

qb drop: This rule is there because I don't want to say you can only drop 10 steps and get complaints about someone dropping 11. I just think allowing a deep drop will decrease complaints and save em some frustration. I also think if you drop deep you get sacked deep I really don't think deep droppers get any advantage out of it.

Moving players: I am going to agree with you on ammending that rule to allow movement. I forgot you can't hot route the Defense and so that does leave adjustments that need to be made. So I'm going to say you can move as necessary for coverage, but don't move people just to exploit the games flaws. Exploit the player not the game

and yes asking the coach is okay and the people who ask madden are the same people who jam crayons up their noses.

hopefully I answered your questions Broncos are still available if you wanna sign up. If you don't end up signing up hit me up for a game you seem to be on top of **** and I'd like to check out your game. my gamer tag is abstrakt fists
