What is the number 1 thing you look for in recruiting? For me, it's speed, speed, and more speed. I really don't care much about anything else. Speed kills.

speed is definately the first thing, but honestly it depends on the position. I'll take a corner that runs a 4.35 with A+ awareness over a corner that runs a 4.18 with D+ awareness that gets burned over and over because he is lost in la la land any day of the week. But speed is definately the first thing I start looking for.

Yeah, I'll definitely sacrifice speed if I have to over awareness, or other factors like hands in a WR, or strength in a LB or RB. I'll take a RB with 4.40 speed and a 325 lb. bench over a RB with 4.20 speed with a 225 lb. bench. But speed is still the determining factor since I have a limit as to how slow a guy can be. However, if I'm starting off with a one or two star team then I'll pretty much take whoever I can get.

Speed and discipline. If you have guys that dont get in trouble, than you dont have to spend much of you points on dicipline and can put more into recruting and training
