I know its cheesy not to use the cone. But I don't see any point in it. The throws are way less accurate and you recievers drop everything. I don't even know why its in this game.

Running hurry up, and going for it on 4th and 30 from their own 10 - sure I see this stupid stuff all the time and its maddening (so to speak). Not to mention inappropriate 2 point conversions... Just stupid.

I use the cone sometimes, and sometimes I don't - depends on what I am trying to do...

No, Sponey, IMHO in this version of the game they gave you an OPTION whether to use it or not for a reason.

Me, I like using the cone and I agree it increases realism in the game. I probably use it about a third of the time - specifically when I am trying to look off a safety.

I could care less for your evaluation as to the presence or lack of my skills...

I loved the cone on x box but on 360 my recievers seem to drop the ball everytime I use the cone. or my QB throws it 20 yards past the reciever out of bounds. If the cone doesn't increase accuracy what's the point. Also if I try to use the cone after the snap and don't default it to start on a reciever it always pump fakes 2-3 times before the cone comes up. until they fix all the glitches of using the cone on 360 I say **** the cone.

the "ACCIDENTAL" pump faking is because you are pushing the LS down (and not realizing it)... I was doing the same thing.. so I went in and "modified" my buttons and changed the pump fake to the RS instead of the LS... putting the pumpfake on LS was "one of the" stupidest things EA has ever done

Ahhh damn I can't believe I didn't realize that, I definately need to change that to RS. Because I usually pull the trigger and start using the cone as I'm dropping back off the snap. Which would explain why it pumpfakes 2-3 times right when I try and pull up the cone. god that is a stupid place for the pumpfake

LOL, I just figured out what the "RS card" is. It's the achievement points you get for figuring out how badly EA f'd up the controls and remapping your pump fake to RS. :D

IMO i like the pump fake where it is...i never acciddently hit pump fake...since u have to click in the ls to do it...u guys must be playing with the ls hard...to accidently pumpfake...i have no problem where it is

It's only when I am holding down the left trigger it's just reflexive to put more pressure on the thumb when clinching the forefinger. I have been using the cone alot more effectively since changing that to rs.

Personally, my vote for the coveted "EA Sports Worst Mapped Button Of All-Time Award" was putting headset mute on the L stick in 2006 for PS2. Playing online I was muting myself basically every play, which was really frustrating...
