Does 3-3-5 stop the run?

I havent had any problems running against it myself. Maybe they just didnt know how to use it.

That looks like a set up to mess with the O-line. Make those TEs miss the LBs as they shoot the inside gaps.

Its wierd i look for that when i come to the line now. switch to a stretch play.

It works well for me but it is better to mix up the defenses. Otherwise people will figure out how to beat the 3-3-5.

Unfortunately I found out the hard way that if you set it up right you can stop both the run and the pass. Trust me Stokes taught me a lesson in Cincy. :( He kept running up the score on me that bum. :D

The thing i've noticed about the 3-3-5 is that the MLB barely ever gets blocked quickly on his pursuit to the ball,ive noticed it works very well on up the middle runs because the MLB often shoots the gap unblocked by the guard.

Depends on who uses it... I stop the run with it OK, but I usually use it in passing formations where a 5-6 yard run isn't gonna hurt. The DL/LB stack can create massive pressure in the right hands and leaves the LB's free to flow to the hole.

In the right hands... This formation is a BEAST.

I've been running the 335 less and less because everyone and their mom runs it now...lol. I like having my own style.

Yes, it's a nice formation and all that vs. the pass especially and I like the 2Deep Man Under/Cover1 and some of the man & man/zone blitzes and running modified zone blitzes out of it, but I still think you have to put a lot of emphasis on stopping the run too. You still have to know what your doing and mix it up in playcalling to confuse and to adjust to your opponent's tendencies just like any other defensive formation. I don't know why there isn't as much threads on the 3-4-Normal, 4-3-Norm/Over/Under & 46-Normal because IMO, their just as good.

Its called when your playing online and every couple of seconds your screen jumps when playing online. Maybe you were downloading or something. I don't know why my end was getting lag bursts, but I'm assuming yours was fine. My brother happened to come at the beginning of the game and we were calling our your plays before you even made them.
