is it possible to shut down the pass w/ the 3-3-5? i just cant seem to do it, i just wanted to know....and which defensive pb u use when running 3-3-5? i know u aint sharing till after hawaii and i just wanna get the general idea

gberger, i remember that you said that you can stop the run all day with the 3-3-5.......what adjustments do you make to it? do you stack the box?

to stop the pass i like calling the cover three, BnRing and spreading the line crashing the outside and spreading the LBs. oh yeah and freeze the D by pressing triangle + R2. works well for me.

to stop the run you set it up like so:

0---0---0
0---0---0

spread the o-line and the put the lb's right behind the OL. Shuts down run very well. i like the formation alot, i gotta find a way to stop the pass more effectivly with it however. but i would like to make this my base formation. You on ps2? if so i can get online right now and we can lab it or i can do it tomrrow after school. 3:30 CST

Kinda sounds like a piss poor defense because a good player will run up the gut till you are forced to change defense. Quick slams sounds like it would muddle up this scheme

if u set up the defense right, it shuts down the run very effectivly

It possiable to shut down anything with the 335. If they are gonna pass take a guy say covering the flats and put him on the best reciever and then blitz another guy, can be very effective if you mess around with it.

not really theres is a 3-3-5 defense that eats slams and dives alive.

3 man under, man lock on, manually put the safetys on the inside side of the outside recievers. manuall control the middle of the field. mix it in with a cover 3, corner blitz, cover 2 (kinda risky, post is wide open), u should be good. im opposite of u, i fair well against the pass wit this set, but no so good against the run.

the problem is i cant generate enough heat.....thats why i suppose their is a lack of pass defense

335??? I'm ur man. I got that 335 looking 99 tuff. Stuffs all runs and suffocates the pass. If u want it u can get it cuz i got it 4 SALE. Stokes retired his cheap 335 after i blew him out the other night :D .
