i am mad that EA doesnt put the real, or widely accepted logo of a team.

example-

Miami- i want the U, not some tornado (if thats what it is)

Notre Dame- i want the classic ND logo, not the leprachan with his hands up

Alabama- i want the "A", not an elephant

i am sure there are MANY others

does this make anyone mad?

the tornado is a lot better than their old school "hurricane warning" logo they had. NOW THAT was a pitiful logo

OK the beak is orange..see it now? I don't get it though. I lived in Florida for a while when I was younger and I never heard anything about ducks and hurricanes. Hurricanes are obvious they happen there every year but what does a duck have to do with a hurricane?

They definitely need to just put the U in. Thanks for the b-day wishes. My wife and I were going to go to the casino but my daughter got sick so we'll do it in a few weeks.

I thought it was a pelican or a crane.... But duck... Oh well....

I believe it's an Ibis. Like their mascot "Sebastian the Ibis".

That's always been my train of thought.

Yeah, Miami's bird is definitely an Ibis. According to lore, it is the last animal to leave when a hurricane is near and the first creature to return after said hurricane passes.

I'm a student at FSU but I admit the U logo does look pretty cool, even if it has that stupid, overused espn phrased attached to it now.

You go to Fresno State? 'Cause were the real FSU.

Afraid not. I akin what you just said to all the south carolina fans who swear they are the "real" USC.

:D

Yeah, It's an Ibis.

But I think the U is the most stupid logo ever. The U? For University? It's like John Belushi in Animal House with the sweatshirt that says "College"... funny.

But when I create team, I want variations of the logo. If I made my own Miami (hock, spit!) team, I'd want the U logo on the helmet not the GREY smudge with a vague Ibis in it.

maybe when a duck goes through a hurricane it comes out looking like a crane....
