360 this board is COLD

what's up.... not a lot of activity in here.... is there every going to be any good info "strategies, etc>" for this game... I'm starting to think NOT.

That why I started 360leagues.com we are hoping to get some life into madden360 a completely different game then madden 06..

it will only be there if you so choose it. If, prior to the play you select the receiver, change the primary receiver or reselect the primary receiver the cone will come up. (I forget which button, i haven't been playing it)

Also after the snap you can bring it up as well.

I miss not forcing the cone, but in my early looks at it it seemed in some cases I'd be more likely to catch the ball if the cone wasn't used. I didn't really care for that. I do imagine though that i'll get back into it even just to prep for 07.

I'm diggin the Colts playbook. Its pretty tremendous.
My offense went from sub-par to pretty good since the switch.

The game is pretty much self explanitory. Play real football and manual catch your passes and the better u are at both the better u are at the game.

I like the new format. It's too easy though. Without the cone you can do whatever you want to with a mobile quarterback. I made Adrian McPherson an All-Pro with the Saints in 1 season. Playing online with Vick isn't even fair. He can scramble all over and not lose any accuracy. Don't get me wrong I enjoy the game.

On another note, I went into EB Games the other day and they asked me if I wanted to reserve '07 on the 360. Seemed a little premature to drop my $5 though. I'll just wait until I get tired of Fight Night Rd. 3. :D

Running around with vick is like 1/4 of the guys online strategy...and i love it cuz i got it locked up now....took a bunch of losses though.

I've only played online a few times. I'm 2-1 which isn't that impressive. I haven't played any ranked games, not that rank matters. Vick would be alot easier to contain if they would have kept the ability to playmaker on D. I haven't really encountered a problem with Vick personally online, but I know what I do when I play friends offline. Maybe using the MLB Spy would stop it, but I don't know if there are any backers fast enough to catch him if he did decide to scramble.
