ENORMUS Upset

My roomate defending national champ and winner of 32 straight with Syracuse went down at the hands of the USF Bulls. He was averaging over 61 ppg and had a running back averaging almost 350 yds per. He only had 210 yds of total offense and his RB was held to 15 yds on 7 carries. I kicked a 56 yd field goal as time expired to win the game on the road in the Carrier Dome.

Honestly, I could careless about the upset -- it happens.

I'm just stoked that theres an actual Syracuse fan on this forum (or related to it) other than me .. holy sh*t, do they not get any love.

I live in Philadelphia, and I'm baffled by the legions of morons around here that have no idea where Donovan McNabb played his college ball at. Like it's not even on the map.

that's the curse of being a collegiate sports program located in a big city.

If Syracuse was located in a relatively small town/city I am sure they would get tons of support.


When people have alot of options to do different things they will probably not stick to one particular event.

The kid has 18 starters ranked in the 90s, the other 4 upper 80s. Most of his players have been playing since they were freshman. A heisman back with over 11,000 yards in his career. Ya he was trying.

well just because he had high ranking players doesn't mean he was trying his hardest to win in that particular game. Remember it's only a video game.

LOL .. dude in no way am I saying he threw the game, but back when my brother and I were playing Franchises together in Madden we'd clash twice, three times a year (we'd play in the same division). I used to actually whip his @ss every year and basically fight with him just to finish the game (and him not break a controller) until finally about 4 seasons in, I just started purposely throwing the game, and making it closer when we'd play. I'd call stupid sh*t to let him score, dive around like an idiot, throw intentional interceptions (harder than it sounds). Otherwise he wouldn't continue to play the Franchise.

Kind of funny to think back on it.

Dude do you know how many people out there DON'T know that? Who probably live in INDY and go to their games? 'cuse has pumped some serious skill into the NFL in the past decade .. Donovan Darius (you know who leads that TOUGH Jaguar Defense?), Keith Bullock (Titans), Will Allen (Giants).
