Me and afew of my friends play madden and do pretty good on defense. WE play highschool football so we play the game like we really would. For run/pass we look at the guard. Read highhat/low hat type thing. This works GREAT for counters. But downfield linemen piss me off!!!!
on playaction plays the offensive linemen act just like its a run play. I saw one play where the offensive linemen was literally 8 yards downfield, nevermind the fact that it was a 83 overall with 86 STR vs Chris Jenkins(lol, yea..okay!) but that is a flag ANY day. There is aboouuttt a 2 yard grace space that refs give o-linemen. But if you look at instant replays of PA plays, linemen are consistantly 5 or 6 yards downfield run blocking. I get killed that way going for the RB and it pisses me off cause then coverage gets blown and so on.
plus WR aren't allowed to go out of bounce then come back in and catch a pass, that always pisses me of cause 85% of the time that happens the play results in a TD.
