Ok, this is what I hate about today game.
I'm controlling the safety, I see the pass coming over the middle... I have to cut in front of it, I push the button expecting to glide foward towards the ball... but NO!! Since I'm so close to the reciever MADDEN decides to give me the "falling backwards trying to catch the ball" animation... THIS IS NOT WHAT I WANTED!!
I'm pushing a direction adn triangle, I expect to fly in that direction regardless of my proximity to the reciever or the ball... is this an issue in 360?

maybe this isn't a glitch.. maybe the guy has low awareness and misplayed the ball???....

2 things...
1. software.. which is what this is... is created by humans... therefore it will error just like humans do.
2. The 360 has MORE animations.. and well that makes it run smother.. it also increases the amount of error that the computer can make... The more options the more chances it picks the wrong one.
It's just the nature of the beast fellas.

It shouln't be a matter of chooosing which one. There needs to be free movement independent from surroundings. I've seen it done in games a thousand times.
If I push Triangle and Down, I want to glide down regardless of where the ball is...
Same w/ the swat button, if I swat and the ball isn't even throw yet, I still want my guy to swat around...
I hate how the CPU can allways swat from behind, but if I"m behind a reciever and chasing him and I push the swat button, I get the little arm motion w/ no jump at all.

So anyone that owns a 360 AND knows what I'm talking about should be able to answer this... I hope.
