I want to know what you guys think of playing madden at the all pro level and the all madden level.Last night i just played madden on the xbox for the first time.I use to play on my ps2 intill I through it across the room .I thought it was going to be dificult playing on the xbox but it wasn't. I kicked butt on all pro with the falcons.Played 15 min quarters, stats were 11 picks 1200 offence 13 sacks won by 50 100 something to 60 something way to easy why is that or im I that good no cheese either.

All-Madden is better IMO because the AI does less retarded things for the most part.

But if you're playing against the CPU it doesn't matter, it sucks on all levels... go on-line for a challenging experiance.

all madden because it way to easy to score a TD on all pro, and you break tackles easier and get away with lucky passes and the cpu are dumb. all madde n is good cuz thier defense is alot better, and they make more better decisions.

All madden definitly. The cpu also throws in some bs plays and calls to make the game interesting. It can be frustrating at times but makes you alot better. 100-60 = you will lose 35-7 on all madden :)

no. but say i have a 6-5 wr and you have a 5-9 cb. am i in real life going to throw the ball near you so you have a chance to catch it? of course not. if i had a player that can jump really high and catch the ball i would use him to my advantage. throwing the ball into coverage is stupid play. i also noticed people that high pass can be better off when they press left or right and lead the receiver other than just have the risk of getting hit. i don't mind the high pass. it is completely realistic. the wr's though should be getting hurt left and right if you pass the ball that high. the only problem i have is my defender not defending the pass but all it takes is a little stick skill. but to answer your question high pass does not equal good o. you also need a running game to have an effective o.

BS, All madden level allows weak defensive players tp play decent defense, the AI on all pro on allot of plays is way wack as it is, there is no way a 85 speed linebacker should be able to be like velcro on a 95 speed running back going out to the flats or up the field even for a little bit. Play some frickin defense and play all pro.

Not that I dont like All madden level, because I do, but allpro is more challenging and closer to realistic than all madden. from a defensive perspective

the high pass in this game is not realistic, its a frickin joke. (no disrespect intended) i have mad so many clutch throws into rediculous coverage just because my reciever was a jumper, and have been victimized as well, its a joke, those tall guys may make 1 on 1 or back of the end zone jump catches, but they dont make them at will or near the percentage that you can do that crap in this game.bottom line in my opinion is the feature is a joke.

i play all-madden because i can't stand playing under the restrictions of fair play mode.

i'm going for it on 4th and 1 as long as i'm past my 20 yard line because i am allowed. you should have the right to go for it whenever you want and to no huddle whenever you want, if the D can't stop you, that's their problem. the Bengals and Colts will run no huddle on the opening drive.

all pro is easy, i get my swerve on all the time on deep routes, it's lame. click on and click off and the cpu will catch for you, he won't in all madden.

i just play all madden because of hardcore ranked games, but i think it also makes the D play a big better, which can be good or bad. if you have a good scheme you could play shutdown D with a bum team. hell, i shut out the Giants 30-0 with the 49ers.

I really only throw high when I'm trying to drop it in between zones. I never tried, but I just assumed that if you threw high on ins, slants and drags that you're giving away YAC potential. Seriously, the D-line doesn't knock down 30% of my passes. I would have thought Madden would be most rewarding when you hit your WR in the hands chest high in stride and penalize you for making them reach on those other routes. Oh well. You learn something new every day.

Well, ive stopped playing games online in All-Pro just becasue of how dumb the high pass is. Yea I did Use it to my advantage but everytime I would make a high pass for a TD it just felt stupid, "its like oh wow yea that was cool why didn't I just do that on 1st down". An so what if the Defense gets a boost on all Madden, How many times really do you see a DB get beat deep like they do on all pro. I could give the controller to my 6yr old brother and sit there and tell him to press up + X and watch him score a TD on all pro but the chances of that happening on all Madden or greatly reduced. Just play on All Madden and figure out how to put together an offense not based on; Run, Run, High pass.

it is completely realistic.what have you been smoking?! one of the reasons the high pass works well is because the defender doesnt realize the WR has better position, and he assumes the ball is going to be bulleted to him(defender), and then the WR jumps and grabs it before it gets to defender. plus, you can use the high pass w/ short guys , which is not realistic at all.

Because the top ballas take control of the defender so the high pass isn't as effective.

You can't high pass on madden 06 for 360, no precision placement. I can't see the high pass going away, maybe just tweaked.

I don't see the connection. Do you think Manning does all those audibles out of the no huddle at the LOS because it takes him 40 seconds to decide if he's going to throw the high curl or the high slant?

Conversely, All Pro could be seen as the level for weaker offensive players...

I play both levels as well. But since my focus is on the defensive side of the ball. I can play defense on both levels, but my surrounding defenders make less BONEHEAD MISTAKES on the All-Madden than All-Pro.

I like it because the game speed seems faster. Holes open and close faster, defenders react quicker, etc. Your offense must be alot crisper on All-Madden.

i think all-madden is good only it pretty much takes man defense out of the equation. the cpu defenders play to tight and you can pass lead ahead of the WR and tear it apart all day. it almost isnt fair to the point where if i play somone on line and using all-madden and they play man i wont even pass because it isnt fair.

i think overall its alot better. the run is more effective, your defenders react better in zone and you are rewarded more when putting player in the right spots. not as many dropped ints when tis throw right to your guy... hitsticks are more often fumbles, etc...

as far as playing the CPU, its kind of good cause the adjust better if you run the same plays but they are still a pushover once you get your game up a bit.

Lesser defenders should make bone head plays, every player on the defense should not make spectacular plays..thats why the nfl teams scheme to thier strengths and mask thier weaknesses...why should you be able to use any team and run the exact same..whatever you run, with every team you use...only on all madden can you get away with that.
