Blocking kicks

I've read where several guys have claimed good success blocking kicks in '07. How do you do this? I can't even come close. (I only play dynasty mode.) I used to be able to block punts once in a while a couple of years back, but not since. And if all you're doing is the cheeseball FG block by picking punt return middle and moving the returner up to LB position and finding a seam in the line with him, that doesn't count!;) Some guy named catfish or something like that did that to me in one of my few online experiences. To me, that's as cheesy as WR direct.

I've blocked two FG's so far (after only one block since Bill Walsh College Football). Just line up in FG block. I use the far left player and run in. I've blocked one myself; the other was blocked by the CPU after the left-most blocker missed him while trying to pick me up. I'm sure you could line up in different things and block kicks, but I've not tried it.

BTW, where is this WR direct play at? I'm just interested in seeing it (I don't play online really at all). I've looked and looked, to no avail.

it is a glitch that through some manipulations of motion and audibling you can get the center to hike it to a wr ....

LMAO -- I believe I too found this site in the same manner. I had just played like my third straight guy who WR directed me all game and I was looking for ways to combat it. I guess in a way having those cheesy bastar*s annoy me to no end actually helped me develop a solid friend list full of straight sim players.

For that reason, I send a special shoutout to all the glitching/cheating pricks out there who made my time on-line enjoyable in the grand scheme of things.

Oh and sorry I got off topic -- I was playing a friend and the CPU controlled player blocked a kick against him. I have seen several where the dude was in the backfield so fast they easily could have blocked the kick -- but they don't lay out to get 'em very often.
